The hooks are solid little metal bolts that look and feel strong. As for the the sauce holder, well that is a bit of plastic screwed to the side of the BBQ. It does hold a range of things and will hold up to some weight in the basket but it is ultimately a bit of plastic that i feel with an accidental knock or bang could break easily.
