ITSU Katsu Noodle Cup, 63 GR

I really like these Itsu noodle cups - there isn't a lot of choice for this type of thing when you need gluten free. These are tasty, have a slight kick, quick, and the noodles come out well (if a bit tricky to eat as they're so slippery!). I haven't noticed a ton of variation between the flavours, they're fairly similar and have had the Satay and Katsu which are both good, I preferred those to the Chilli Miso. Quite salty, as you'd expect! Only down side is that some seem to come with only foil tops. Great as there's less plastic but easier to damage so make sure and check them.

Very easy to prepare, just make sure you dont go over the water line inside the cup as it will weaken the soup and effect the taste, i used abit less boiling water and left the noodles for around 15mins, tasted awesome as the noodles swelled and the soup thickened abit which helped it to coat the flat rice noodles, lovely flavour, so nice ive purchased more……

It is gluten free and the 3 different ones I have tried were tasty and the broths are excellent. A simple, quick and satisfying snack.

I highly recommend this for people who are gluten free or celiac as a great alternative for noodle pots. It’s actually tasty and is a quick food option for those that need it.
