Original Replacement Accessory Kit for HW-302 / HW-402B Canister Filter

Bought to use with the Fluval 107. Works amazing, and the product comes with enough parts to customize for specific needs. Only complaint: I thought it was supposed to come with a directional nozzle, and I only recieved a spray bar.

I gave it 5 stars as it is exactly what it says it is. I ordered after reading the questions. Someone had said it does fit the 404B filter which is what I have. I was so excited when it came in! I ran right in to swap everything over just to find out it in fact does NOT fit the 404B. The shut off valve is the wrong size and when trying to attach the tubing to my old shut off valve the tubes were too small. It took my husband and I about an hour of heating up the tubing and forcing it onto my old shut off valve to get it to stretch enough to fit. I had to use metal hose clamps and it was very frustrating to say the least. Not the sellers fault at all as the listing does not say it's for a 404B. So I'm not going to knock his rating for my mistake. But for anyone looking for one for their 404B this is not it.

After 6 weeks it seems to be doing ok, more loose than OEM but good. Replace large canister o-ring too.

I bought this to replace the Fluval 206 Intake and Outflow setup. I boiled some water and placed one of the hoses within the pot. Straightened it out and let it cool. The hose is a tight fit to the canister connections, but it works. Just take a cup of hot water, dip the end you're connecting to the filter in and let it sit for 30 seconds or so. After it becomes slightly pliable, attach to filter and quickly screw up the connecting screws on the canister to lock the hose off. No leaks, nothing. Snug as hell even without the screw locks. If you replace your intake with this, the "prime" function on your Fluval will not work due to not having the "ball check" valve on the original intake. Just keep water in the tube as you normally would when cleaning the canister, release the lever and gravity would suck water down and refill the canister per normal.
