I glued appliques to a burlap tote, I fixed a seam on a rayon jumpsuit which ripped after a wash, and I glued the innersole of my shoe back down after it started lifting up and sliding out when I would remove my foot from my shoe. I have to say in all these instances it worked really well. I took the advice of another reviewer, and I weighed down the objects with books while the glue dried. I believe this creates a nice tight bond. What is great is that the glue dries flexible, so it is not stiff and hard. And it dries clear, so if you have a little spillover, it is hard to notice. The edges of the appliques have not lifted at all, even with multiple uses. My innersole stays put when I remove my shoe.
