Great aquatard from someone who has tried a bunch!
I really love this swimsuit and I have tried quite a few in this style. I teach 5 water aerobics a week and this is lasting well. It is super comfortable. I love the longer length; the bottom of the suit stays put, no riding up the leg like other styles I have tried. The zipper is nice and makes for easier changes. The fit is right on. I love the shelf bra; it is very supportive with all the movement I do in the pool. My only complaint is I wish the entire suit was double lined. The bottom is only 1 layer. That being said, it is a thicker polyester material. I feel like I am covered fine but it would be the perfect swimsuit with this added feature!!!

works great and pretty true to size
I've been using this for a while, this is my second order. The other is still good I just lost weight and needed a smaller size. I love it, fits great, I don't use the breast pad inserts as they move quite a bit but I find that the material is thick enough on its own. There isn't support in the mid section as someone else pointed out but honestly its never affected me. I use it every day, I swim in chlorine daily I rinse it daily and wash it with gentle soap 1-2 times a week on gentle and let dry. I NEVER dry it in the dryer. I'm going to go order a second one in this size as its nice to have 2 when you swim daily. Also, the purple is really pretty.

Great Swim Tog!
Used this for the first time today, and I'm very happy with my purchase. Be advised, when it is suggested that you order your size (rather than up or down) , take that advice. I am 5' 5.5" at 210 lbs and am both chesty and hippy.. Generally, I tend to order a size up 'just in case'. This time, it wasn't needed and my tog is a bit looser than it needs to be. That is no fault of the outfit nor the seller, just me hedging a bet that didn't need hedging! I would definitely buy again, but I would order my true size next time. I'm a lap swimmer and everything stayed in place as I had hoped. As mentioned, I am chesty and wear a swim bra under my tog, so I don't know if the shelf bra inside is sufficient for most. Overall, I really like this. RECOMMEND!

Basic and Comfortable. Not ugly.
Pretty much what I was looking for. Wish it had a bit more support around the lower belly. It's not very forgiving in that regard. It's quite comfortable though and the zip really does help with putting it on and off. The shelf bra is supportive enough and the inserts don't add inches on me that I don't need. I hope it holds up to chlorine as promised. I am really in between sizes and went with the smaller. I thought I'd made a mistake as I could barely breath in it at first, but once in the pool it loosened up and I'm glad I didn't get the larger as I think it would have been too loose and I would have been jiggling around. The stripe down the sides helps to disguise figure flaws, of which I have many.

It fits and it is not skimpy - just what I wanted!
I wanted something that I didn't have to worry about constantly adjusting in the water and covered all my bits and this fit perfectly! This is American sizing and the 22 fits my 5'7" and 270 lb. body. I do have a smaller top and this accommodates that also without billowing out in the bosom area. There is even some give room and plenty of stretch, so if you wear an American size 24-26, you may find this works for you also. If you want it a snug fit, you might try a size 20, but I'm sticking with this one!

Bust “pads” are horrible! They shift around when washed!
I have had 5 aquatards by Dolfin to wear to my aqua classes over 9 years. They are phenomenal for frequent training in the water. They wear like iron and don’t fade, stretch out or ride up. I decided to get something a little different because I have lost 30 lbs. This zip up model is similar to the other ones I have had, but I wanted to add a little color. This suit was a disappointment. The flat “cup” inserts are the problem. When washed, the cups float around between the lining and the outer fabric. When you put the suit back on, the flat inserts are folded over inside and it is nearly impossible to unfold them. You are stuck with lumpy looking breasts! I would take them out but there is no way to do it without cutting into the lining. I don’t want to do that and risk it fraying. It would have been so easy to tack the pads to the lining in two little places, top and bottom. Also, I wear size 10 pants, but need a size 14 in this suit.Otherwise, it seems to be a good suit so far.

Excellent conservative swim suit offering good support
I prefer to wear farmer john style wetsuits as they are easier to get into and wanted a thinner swimsuit that offered the same features. This product is exactly what I was looking for. It is true to size and fits great. Between the shelf bra, relatively high scoop neck, and tightness around the chest once zipped up it actually provides good support. I was able to wear it underneath gym clothes to lift weights (Olympic barbell movements) and the suit shockingly provided almost as much support as a good sports bra. Lastly, the little flap over the zipper really does work to keep the suit zipped up when doing laps of various swim strokes.I think other reviewers have noted that it doesn't have any tummy control features. That is definitely true so that is something to consider if that's a concern.

I am giving this suit five stars because I love it, even though it is a little tight ...
I am giving this suit five stars because I love it, even though it is a little tight across the chest, it fits everywhere else. I could take the pads out but I need them! And they aren't that big. It isn't heavy, doesn't drag me down at all. I bought a size 12, I'm 5'3" and the suit comes almost to the top of my knee and I like that. When I get to the size I want to be I will get another one. I take water aerobics three times a week and it is working out fine for me.
