My Very First Bible

We have many children's bibles, but this is my favorite for taking to church. It's not a comprehensive bible, so not every single story is in there, but it does a nice job of covering the major stories, which is what I love about it. It's small and light, easy to throw in a bag, and doesn't leave out major tenants if the Christian faith.It's a hard cover book, but the cover is somewhat squishy. The pages are thick lamenated. These features make it very durable - perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. The overall size and weight of the book are also little kid friendly.The stories are well written and the pictures are beautiful. You won't regret purchasing this for your children or as a gift. It makes a great Baptism gift.

I bought this to start reading to my 3 month old and we love it. She's still too young to be interested in it, but I love the illustrations and how simple the stories are to understand. It'll be a great book to read to her for a couple of years.

Great quality and seems it will be able to stand up to a lot of wear. The illustrations are beautiful. Will be well read by all of our kids!

There are stories from the old and new testaments...the pictures are beautiful...the words are easy to understand. This book can be read to a child, and later the child can read it! The cover is a little padded, so that is appealing to a child as well. Great book for the price!
