Use with caution very potent
Since this pandemic the lack of quality sleep has been a problem. While using this tea I have felt relaxed and my sleep has good improved. As a safety precaution I have learn to rotate this tea as it is potent and can cause palpations and vivid dreams.

Brings sleep! Tastes a lot better than it smells, but Valerian root CAN trigger Migraines!
I drank this for several months, and I fell asleep every single night without issue. I'm sure you've read, it smells kinda bad... A little like something you might imagine mushrooms growing in... Earthy, slightly like old gym socks. It tastes a lot better than the smell, if you can get around that. However, during the months I drank it, I'd find now and then that I'd wake up and feel like I had a migraine in my sleep. Sometimes it would come on the following morning. After doing some research, as my luck would have it, it's a known trigger in people who already suffer from migraines. Which I do.I generally get perhaps 2, sometimes 3 migraines a year. While drinking this, it was 2 to 3 a month. Such a disappointment cause I bought like six boxes of this because it worked so well.A good night's sleep is not worth risking a migraine to me. :/

It Works but Tastes Awful
Something about this tea's smell is offensive. There is also an overwhelming flavor of licorice. I can't even drink it. So disappointed because I'm looking for a replacement for Sleepytime due to plastic in their tea bags. However, I will say, if you can get past the smell and taste, this really does aid in a good night's sleep.

sleep time tea.
The tea is good. I can not tell if it helps me sleep ...because some nights I sleep well and others not so much. Psychologically, it is a good thing....and enjoyable to drink.

Real slumber ......
Historical efficacy of a more tranquil sense of relaxation. Taken an hour or so before bedtime delivers more relaxation. May take some weeks or sooner to get good effect. Not "knock-out" medicine. No side effects. Good quality Valerian .
