Phantom Aquatics Snorkeling Swim Lycra Skin Full Suit Wetsuit

So many of the Unisex Skins are merely sized for Men and Women have to try and make them fit. This is sized for a woman. I'm 5'4", 180lbs and the Women's XL fits well. It's not as soft as my last skin, feels a bit stiffer on but stretchy and I feel comfortable moving around in it. It has a long zipper so easy to put on and the neck opening isn't too high so it very comfortable zipped up. Only just received it so haven't tried it out diving but will next month. I'll update my review after I've actually used it to let you know how it holds up.

Because lycra in general has a wide range of fit and fabric issues and I am a giant mutant of a human being, I ordered both an X-Large and the XX-Large, since the suit I'm replacing (an old BodyGlove I've had for 15 years) is an X-Large and gives me a pretty good fit, but I tend closer to the XX-Large with NeoSport Products.The design and cut of both suits were good. Good stitching and form, although I would have preferred a zipper with the bigger teeth/pull, like my BodyGlove. The XL was a bit too snug for my liking, so I went with the XXL.And here it the point where the product lost two stars. The XXL is made from lighter fabric than the XL, so if you have a belly (or other bits that stick out more than a 'normal' person), you get the sheer 'LuluLemon' effect. On my belly and chest, you could see my nipples and hair patterns through the fabric. To confirm, I took both suits and weight them on a scale. The XL suit weighed in at 13.8 ounces, and the XXL suit weight in at 9.2 ounces. So one size bigger actually weighs about 35% less.Now, for what I needed it for (wearing it underneath a full-body mascot style costume), that wasn't a big deal, but if you plan on wearing the XXL by itself out in public, make sure you take a look at yourself (don't forget to flex a little) and make sure this isn't going to be an issue.

I’m using this skin under my scuba wet suit; it aids very well to don and remove the stiff 5 mm wetsuit. In addition it provided some skin protection from ultraviolet sun rays during the dive interval, during gear set-up and break down. The suit fits well, is true to size as advertised. The zipper can be left a little bit open to promote cooling in the sun. Colors are nice and bright. The stitching along the seams is strong and has not shown any unraveling since I use this skin almost daily in and out of seawater. Recommended product.

SUFFER FROM SHOULDER DAMAGE/HARD TO GET INTO A HOODED WETSUIT???After ripping each arm out of socket more than once(sking/boarding), the last rip-out of socket happened skiing JAN 2014/MAR 2014 surgery. A year later, i have NOT been able to get into my two hooded wetsuits, a Quicksilver and RipCurl SOLO let alone without a heavy amount of pain on new arm. They are both traditional zipper. NOT POSSIBLE for my new Labrum/etc to allow wetsuit 'install'. NEXT- I purchased a frontzipper hooded 6/5/4 Hyperflex in hopes that style would solve. NOPE. Although a bit better, my shoulder/etc had too much pain wrestling with suit just TRYING to put on.I researched more amazon reviews. .... BAM....found this.After it arrived, I went down to Camano Island State Park on this lovely January 2015 winter day ...... skeptical of how bad it was going to be pain-wise to wrestle my wetsuit....... both on and off.I WAS ABLE TO GET INTO AND OUT OF MY NEW FRONT ZIPPER 6/5/4 HYPERFLEX HOODED WETSUIT WITH EASE!!!! YES.....EASE!!!!Now, i will no longer be fearful of how sore my shoulder will be the next day when i want to GO SWIMMING for shoulder and spine therapy!One more REAL NICE BENEFIT---I can take off wetsuit and NOT worry about getting a ticket for being naked in public!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this product. I've never bought anything like this before but it was recommended for a trip to the Galapagos (apparently, you can get minor stings from jellyfish while in the water so they recommend a full body skin). Keep in mind this is NOT a wetsuit despite what the name of the product suggests. It's a very thin dive skin that you can wear under your normal wetsuit, which is what I did. Therefore, it's not really going to keep you warmer than usual or anything like that. But it's nice for offering some protection against light stings (I didn't actually end up experiencing any jellyfish on my trip so I'm making an assumption there) and I've read other reviews where folks use it as a coverup in the sun. I was concerned about sizing but I think they run about average, not big or small.

The reason I left a star out is because this suit is not easy for me to get out of. Maybe because I am not a youngster anymore? I think that if the zipper was longer in front it would fix that glitch for me. I am about 5' 4" and 130 lbs and I ordered the Medium. It fits like a glove. The quality is great. I just came back from a snorkel vacation and wore it about 12 times and it is still perfect. I will take this everywhere I snorkel. As for the difficult part of getting it off? Well if you have that issue you just need someone to help you take one arm out and the rest is fine. Also, I wear it naked. No sense in putting on a suit under it. I LOVE this suit and find the price of it excellent. I would have paid more for it.

I am in love with the suit that makes me look 10 times sexier.......it fits like a glove. I am 5'5 approximately 145 pounds and the medium fits very well feel like the small would fit like a second skin. The material stretches so do not go a size up, i did that and bought a large and it was too big, the small could fit me as well because it stretches. Its like you have nothing on and can wear it anywhere. I got some socks to go with it and it is awesome. I am returning the pink and black that i got for another medium in the same color. You will not regret buying this keep in mind it is thin so dnt buy and complain abt that its a skin suit not a wet suit so dont expect thickness.......FYI I was not paid for this review. I am going scuba diving tomorrow will update on how it holds up in the water and the feel as well.

Great fit. Perfect for wearing under a wetsuit/semi dry suit. Slid right in! Quite see-through but just wear a bikini or swimsuit and you’re golden. Still going strong after its first dive trip, and dries super quick. Can’t recommend this enough.

Choosing the size had been a concern but due to time constraints I had to go ahead without contacting the supplier .no idea if this would have been quick or not as I chose to go ahead anyway. To help others I will be brutally honest about myself ..I am 5 foot 8 about 80 kilos (so not slim by any normal use of the word)and the large size fitted well ..my partner is 5 4 about the same weight and it likewise was a good fit (this was the first time we had ever worn Lycra and was surprised at the comfort and lack of drag when swimming .I had expected it to be very constraining and annoying but it was barely noticeable when snorkelling .We had bought the suits as protection against Jelly fish and having the ability to swim over tentacles push them away with my elbows without being stung was great. I am presuming anyone over 6 ft should go for extra large as large was a good fit for my height 5 8 and anyone 5 2 or under possibly medium or small if they are also skinny ( or slim fit as it is also known in fashionable circles)I would recommend these as well made and fit for purposeCan't say how long they will last yet but zip and seams are still in good condition .The only minor problem is that the neck is a bit low so no protection there but I would not want a higher neck as I have been told this causes chafing .

Excellent fit, i bought this item to wear it under the 7 mm so as to slip better. Cannot believe how fast you slip in your wetsuit. Regarding the size i bought medium, even though i would normally buy a small, because i read all the reviews. It was a bit big. No worries though but my suggestion would be , buy your normal size . A must for divers under the 5 & 7 mm wetsuit

Fantastic quality at a very good price. Even after almost a month of use nearly every day it washes well and dries very quickly. The size I purchased is a very snug fit and although comfortable, I would probably go for the next size up when I purchase again.

It fits me perfectly! Im a female scuba instructor 5'4, 60kg and it sticks to me like a second skin. Havent tried it in water though, will use it when the season starts in Malaysia.
