This review is only about a defect in the physical vinyl itself. 3 out of the 8 albums have what looks like small cracks or ripples in the runoff of the record and under the label. I’d already purchased this once before and returned it because 4 of the albums had this same issue. I’d assumed the boxset had been dropped. The second purchase had similar but not identical defects on three of the records. I can’t tell if they are cracks or just on the surface. Either way it is not the kind of quality pressing I expect from a $200 box. I’ve decided to keep it. I don’t know if this boxset will ever get a new pressing. The albums do play correctly and I will just monitor the defect to see if it gets worse.
