The Illustrated Dictionary and Concordance of the Bible Hardcover – April 1, 1992

Although the volume is almost 30 years old, a friend who is a biblical scholar says that the content was well-researched and stands the test of time. It is beautifully illustrated and the paper quality is exceptional. That being said, it is very heavy and almost needs a podium from which to read comfortably! It was very reasonably priced for the quality of the book. An excellent companion to your bible.

excellent info item, not only heavy to lift but heavy with information/enlightment, and great pictures. I gave a cc as a gift to a pastor friend and she loves it and has put aside her small biblical dictionary and it has a perm place on her desk.

This Bible is unique in so many ways. The pictures are worth a thousand words. The maps are spot on. The dictionary answers so many questions that I felt were silly to ask what the word really meant both before Christ was born and after He was born. It is quite heavy as books go but the knowledge inside is worth every ounce!

It is a fantastic book to look up anything from the bible, like a dictionary and it gives you scriptures to look up regarding what you are looking up.The only thing I found dissappointing is that I purchased them used, one was in great condition, the other stated "good" but had coffee spilled all over the side of it.

It is an excellant product for aiding in Bible study. I would recommend this to students of the Bible. It is a valuable addition to my library.

excellent reference book I am learning a lot from its contents

This is a large heavy book, full of color illustrations and arranged alphabetically. it is not deeply scholarly, but very attractive and would encourage interest with the well written entries and illustrations. It would be a good choice for a Bible study or family reference, and it would be a good tool for Sunday School classes.
