Perfect for proofing pizza dough pucks.
Bought on the recommendation off others for proofing pizza dough pucks . Perfect size for a 250grm ball to rest and rise ready for stretching a few hours later. I'm sure they make great general food storage containers too. They are easy to clean. We put them in the dishwasher and haven't degraded in any way.

Just what I wanted
We have just got a new freezer and I wanted some containers to stack in there, so I could bulk cook meals and freeze them. These are perfect - a good brand - and well made. They take up little space in the cupboard before use, and stack well in the freezer. They hold 2 average portions of chilli, curry, beans, rice, ratatouille, casserole. Using these has created space in my new freezer, it's a lot tidier and more organised now.A word of advice - if you don't want these to stain, don't put them in the microwave - remove the frozen food and cook in a glass bowl or other container. It's cooking in the microwave that makes these, and other plastic containers, get stained. And I want mine to stay pristine!

Use for pizza dough balls
I have a Roccbox pizza oven and use these to individually prove dough. They are also good for freezing the dough

Great value bowls
I purchased these bowls as i wanted small containers with lids for mixing & storing different colours of buttercream. Theyre a good size for mixing in and nice snug lids means i can keep them covered to store in the fridge without faffing with cling film. Saves me using all the cereal bowls for mixing! dishwasher safe too, so a doddle to clean, plus i can put any leftovers straight into the freezer. Really great quality, not 'disposable' and stackable too, taking up much less space in the cupboard!

Great for individual pizza dough proving - plus lots more!!
I bought these initially to prove individual dough balls for pizza - for which they are great! It’s best to prove them ‘upside down’, with a small spray of spray olive oil on the inside of the lid, as it makes removing the dough balls ALOT easier and you get to keep those lovely air bubbles which make a nice cornicorne (a nice fluffy air filled crust). They are the perfect size for dough balls that are roughly 220g-250g. Recently I’ve been making dough balls that are roughly 310g and they lids tend to pop open requiring re-balling, but this isn’t a huge issue! However, my wife has decided that they are the perfect size for batch cook freezing - so from the original 8 I bought I probably now only have access to 3 or 4, as the others are being used to store 2 portions per tub of things like curry, chilli and Bolognese. I’ve had to buy another 2 sets so we’ve both got enough! We’ve also used them if we are going off on a picnic (when Covid rules allow us to!), although we tend to use them to store more solid items, such as sausage rolls etc. Rather than the more sauce/liquid based items, as although the lid is great, if they are upside down they can leak a little!I tend to use them also if I’m preparing a meal ahead of time that needs to be cooked fresh and quickly, in that I will chop all my ingredients into separate bowls, and stack them in the fridge until I need them for later - it just takes the hassle and stress out of chopping and cooking everything at the same time at speed - it also means it’s easier and everything is ready for you! Although my wife tends to have a go as there is always a lot of bowls that need to go in the washing machine as I tend to cook with too many separate ingredients - admittedly she is right that a lot needs to be washed up, but I do find it easier to organise myself if all the prep is done before hand!We love them in this house, and wouldn’t hesitate to buy more!! In terms of storage, you can stack all the clear bowls inside one another, and then stack the lids together to save space - although we are always using ours, either for batch cooking freezing, or for pizza dough prep. The only issue I’ve found so far, is due to them being used to store tomato based sauces when freezing, the clear plastic has an ever so slight reddish tinge now - even after going through the dishwasher multiple times - although this obviously doesn’t affect the use!

Great value for money
The lids need to be pushed down around the entire rim for a good fit. There is a little 'give' where the lid meets the base. I half filled a bowl with water and turned it upside down and there was no leakage. So, the bowls are air-tight and fit for purpose. Four bowls are supplied and it costs a little over 1 euro per bowl, so they are great value. I choose these as I like the quality of the Sistema range.I bought these bowls for leaving pizza dough (290 g balls) in the fridge overnight to rise. I tried this with the bowls lids down and also base down. The lids opened slightly when the lids were face down, which defeated the purpose of using air-tight bowls. It worked well when the bowls were base down. It took some time to wash away the sticky residual dough. So, I think I'll return to using a large plate covered in plastic wrap. The bowls will be useful for storing the pizza toppings instead.

Perfect for pizza dough.
Very good product for keeping pizza dough in the fridge. Only piece of advice is to make sure that the lids are on securely. I also tend to cover with container with cling film before putting lid on.
