Turns out it was not my battery going bad, but my power supply. But now I have two batteries for the laptop and this new one is working great. I charged the old one and put it aside and use this one now all of the time. It's only been a month, and so far it works very well. Several hours of use on battery time. I'd buy from this company again.

The battery I received is exactly as advertised, and is in perfect, new condition. I've purchased many part-specific batteries, and it's generally a good sign when a new replacement battery has a partial charge, which this battery had. After reading the included manual, which I recommend doing before using most products, I installed the battery, and the process went smoothly. My laptop displayed a pre-charge level of 74%, which, as I said before, is a good sign. I decided to use my laptop more than usual, for a few days, so that I could find out how long the battery held a charge, and how long it took to recharge the battery. To measure consistency, I charged the battery, 3 separate times, when my laptop registered the battery level at exactly 15% each time. The charge times were consistent. It's difficult to perform the same consistency test for a rate of discharge, because using different functions can often use more, or less, power than other functions, especially when using a laptop. Other factors, that may cause seemingly different discharge rates, are scheduled tasks that a laptop performs, such as defragmentation, optimization, virus scans, etc.. All of these factors aside, the battery maintains a charge very well. All together, I'm happy with how well this replacement battery performed. I will try to update this review in 6-12 months, which I usually do for other products, so that I can share how well this battery performs long term, but, for now, I pleased with my new battery.

Even with a new battery the runtime longevity is not good with these type of laptops. Otherwise, it is what it is. Works as it should.

I purchased the battery in April 2022, installed it when received, and today, Oct 2023, it will not power up the computer. From the beginning it would not last as long as the original battery, and after several months of use, it would last less than an hour. Recently, it would only last minutes before I received a message to plug in. Now, nothing! Therefore, I can only recommend you look elsewhere. If you still have one of these computers (they're tanks), and want to continue using it like I do, leave comment if you find a good battery source. Batteries Plus has one that sells for $139 and comes with a 1-year warranty. I'll try the GHU here on Amazon and see if it lasts. If not, I'll drop the $ for a BP solution.

Fits perfectly and seems to hold a charge!

Seems to be a good value -- no problems as of yet. Time will tell of useful life.
