Tourist Handlebar

I bought these mainly because of the angles. I like my north road bars to be pointing further back, but not straight back and these are perfect. The bars are also beautifully finished and lightweight to my standards (these went upside down on an old Raleigh Sports). I ended up actually swapping them out for Wald 8095 bars because I felt a little bit cramped. The Wald bars go forward a little more before swooping back, similar to the classic Raleigh bars but the ends point a little more outwards than the VO ones. I still love the VO ones so much that I'm putting them (right side up) on a Schwinn that I was intending to sell but I might be keeping it anyway ... Also, just fyi, the straight sections are a little bit long but if you have a hack saw or band saw or whatever, it won't be a problem. It gives you flexibility, if anything.

Finally I can ride my bike comfortably. The bike is just more fun when I don't get a sore back and my hands don't go to sleep. Who decided to put flat bars on practically every bike made in the last 30 years? These are a little wider than Nitto North Roads, a bit less than the Nitto Albatross, cheaper than both but good quality and perhaps the least expensive aluminum bars out there. They don't seem too wide but "just right", although preferences will vary. Moving from flat bars I was lucky since I didn't have to change the cabling, but YMMV. These are what the bike should have come with in the first place.

I put them on my disc trucker. I think they are going to be nice. Good quality. Packaging and delivery great.

I had a more narrow handlebar set up for the longest time. It wasn’t until recently I noticed how the pressure points were really uncomfortable so…. Knowing that VO is a good brand I started looking to see what they had and the reviews sounded good for this lil guy. I installed the new handlebars myself and didn’t need shims or anything. Good stuff!

Posture with these is like older liesure touring bikes-English 3 speeds and the like. My lady friend wants these also now---to be added to her newish bike with standard barely swept, mostly straight bars. These help with hand, neck, shoulder issues. Why not enjoy the ride???

these are the most comfortable bars for my Grocery Getter bike ! I ride my bikes everywhere here in Venice . The bars are the perfect riding position for around town errands . comfortable for my hands .wrists and back. Higly recommend .

I was very impressed with the finish and quality of this bar. I replaced an ugly black mountain bike bar that didn't quite fit with my 70's Raleigh. I like that the angle of the grip fits my wrists a lot better. It's hard to tell from Amazon's pics what the bends look like so please see pics I've added. I installed this bar with some nice shellacked Singleworks cork grips and a pair of Dia-compe Old School Vintage Brake levers for a great look and a really nice comfortable ride.

Although the packaging came a little beat up the bar was in great shape when I pulled it out of the box. The bar mounted up with no problems and looks great on my road bike conversion!
