**Q: If I buy these seeds now in September 2017 will they still be good to plant in the spring of 2018?**
A: I'd wait and buy fresh seeds in the spring, just before planting.

**Q: Do these turn and get green lines on them?**
A: They stay light green with no stripes. Best when harvested at about 6 inches. They will get large if you let them (carved one for Halloween decoration).

**Q: Is this variety resistant to the vine borer?**
A: I don't know, I haven't seen any so far just some powdery mildew here in hot & humid S.E. Michigan.
