Photo in ad misleading
When we opened the package and looked at the platter, we were very disappointed. The photo in the ad shows a turkey in sharp detail. The actual plater displays a turkey that is almost impossible to discern. We should have read reviews before we ordered because this appears to be a common complaint.

dEFINITELY NOT AS NICE AS THE PICTURE
The design barely shows up. The "embossing" failed big time. Also size is not as defined in the listing. 12" wide is what I needed to fit in my cupboard. This is 13" wide

We Needed A Big Platter--And Found A Great One!
If you make a large turkey, or a pair of oven stuffer roasters, or a whole ham, it is a really sad moment to have to do the presentation in the kitchen in the roasting pan or lug said pan to your table.We have platters.They hold smaller birds, half hams, and on. A seven rib-standing rib roast? No chance. This baby does.And you can cut on it.And you can serve on it.And it washes up just wonderfully in your dishwasher.Not a bad product--a very nice product at a reasonable pricepoint.Thanks HIC (Whoever you are! ;-)

This platter was as I suspected and is a big platter design for big turkeys and you can even put potatoes and stuff around it if you want to decorate your table...

Sturdy turkey sized platter
Just the right size for a turkey. As others have mentioned the design could have been more visible but that is not a fatal flaw given its use.

Disappointed in the pattern
Was disappoint with this platter, I actually sent it back, which is not something I usually do. The pattern in the picture is nice, but when the actual platter arrived you could hardly see the pattern. You could feel it if you ran your hand over it, but it wasn’t very pronounced when just looking at it.

Heavy and turkey not visible at all
I am disappointed with this plate.Its heavy, but what is worse is that the decor- turkey cant be seen!There is that I bought is for this decor!I would not recommend it.
