Excellent quality & great value
Excellent quality & great value kibble.Skinners was recommended by the breeder when we collected our Labrador retriever puppy (now 8mths old). We started him on the puppy food and transitioned across to junior food over months 6 & 7 with huge success.EVERYONE comments on his fantastic coat. He is alert, energetic, very intelligent and our vet advises he is sitting at the perfect body shape, this is based on feeding the recommended 100g per predicted 8kgs of weight and split over 2 feeds. We’ve had no issues and I’d confidently recommend this brand to anyone for their canine family.nb: Usual great delivery using amazon prime

Fantastic Kibble
We have been feeding our black Labrador skinner's field and trial since he was a pup. Using their handy online calculator to judge how much he needs then adjusting as he grew. Now at 30.6kg he is all muscle and no fat on him. Very good quality kibble just wish they came in a few more flavours :D

Good quality food, Cheap price
Our dog really enjoys this food (Husky). We changed him to this food after he was regularly being sick when eating. From what i can tell Skinner's has a good percentage of actual meat in, and our dog really seems to enjoy it. so much so that when we ran out and we tried him with a couple of other foods he turned his nose up. the moment this food came he circled around it - he couldn't wait to eat it. i would recommend.

excellent product and value
I previously fed my growing puppy on Purina Beta or Harringtons; I know she had no preference between them because I fed her 50/50 for a day when crossed over. Pets at Home chased all their customers away in my home town by pushing up the price of Beta so ridiculously high that the Morrisons on the same retail park ran out of dog food suitable for my 6 month old puppy. In exasperation I bought a bag of this stuff.Thank you Pets at Home!!! I tried the 50/50 test; my dog ate 1 kibble of Harringtons then tried the Skinners and immediately wolfed it all down before returning to the Harringtons. Case proven and endorsed by my observation that she appears to have more vitality since going onto the Skinners. It works out loads cheaper too, buying it in a big bag from Amazon. win, win and more win

Listen to your dog
Seemed ok at first but stools were a bit sloppy then she suddenly refused it totallySwitched back to her old food and now she’s full of energy again firm stools I thought she was calming down as she was growing 17 months old but it was the food making her lethargicNow she’s back to her crazy selfIs your dog trying to tell you something she definitely was thank god

Bad batch??
I’m not completed satisfied with this product - it’s the second bag I’ve ordered but it’s different from the last lot, it’s a different quality and my puppy had an upset stomach after eating this for a few days (not sure if it’s a bad batch or if they had changed the ingredients?)I had to find an alternative. I won’t be buying this make again.

CAREFUL
Beware this option from Skinners & Field because not only I have received different looking batches, but the ingredient list isn’t ANYWHERE on the product description ??? Also my puppy refused the food, would never finish it, would act so paranoid shortly after eating, looking around like there was a ghost, scratching her eyes (which lead to an infection) and was so lethargic and sick every day after her meal, it took as a few weeks to realise it was this feed. We were before on the chicken puppy field & trial and she had no problem, but if you need to buy this product I would recommend buying straight off their website as this looks quite dodgy ...

Great :)
I've got a black labrador puppy that has lived off this since she was weened from her mother. She used to eat the puppy one, which she loved, and we were recommended by her vet to change her food to Junior. She loves the junior one but I recommend that if you have the puppy one and change to junior that you mix them together. I think I changed them over a bit quick and she was a little surprised by the change of flavour.
