Update on 1-21-15Found a Video of this product on You Tube, Take a look into it.Nautilus Elliptical E616Web link belowhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07bbPJJkYpg-----------------------------------------------------------------------------The product did take a while to put together, i did this on my own. i do recomend to have someone to help you, this will save you time and make your building easier.quality, the plastic is flimsy but still looks nice. the metal frame is nice and sturdy but not heavy. the feel of the frame feels solid and well designed.Price, the current pricing is resonable. since the plastic feels flimsy and thin, the price is adequte. If the plastic was thicker and sterdy, than i would say that mrsp pricing would be adequete, but that is not the case.Overall look. The pictures that deplay this product are accurate and display what you will initially recieve.screen display is a bright and the blue screen adds a touch of elegence making it easy to see. The product screen will ask for you wieght, hieght, name, age, date, and time. the heart monitor diplay is in form of bars, it does not display your heart rate in a number but will diplay in what area of rate your heart is(example 50-70,70-90). the display is simple and easy to ready. The buttons are responsive and feel sterdy.Speaker are a nice touch, did not find a volume roker for it on the screen. volume is ajusted to the device you attach too. before i forget, the product comes with a cord with 3.5 mm on both ends, this cord will allow fortyou to connect your device via 3.5mm (aka headphone jack).another thing, the product comes in around 25 pieces. most of the screws are in place, while assembling. you will notice that the screws are in its perspective threads.resistance level and incline. level of resistance is great, on my first use, i had it on resistance to and it was challanging. the incline level is acceptable, moving to scale of 11 percent. for the i cline thier is not much to say except that it will increase slightly and will add some challnnge to your workout. dont expect much fromtthe incline. for the price of the product this is acceptable.i would rate this product 4.5 but i am unable to, due the fact that thier is no half star option, it will eecieve a 5.an update will be added with additonal information.1-21-15Okay, ladies and gents. Make sure you oil the two pulley wheels, you do so with the oil that our receive. Put two drops on the two pulley wheels, on the bar that they are set on, put oil on that too. Do so, by squeezing a thin line across the bar. You must do this to have the machine operate smoothly. This is a great machine and am satisfied. I weigh at about 250 pounds and it holds my weight with ease. The features that it comes with are awesome, at first you wont use all them but at one point you will start to experiment.Let me tell you about the resistance. I put it to the highest level of resistance, the high resistance level gave me a workout that made me feel like I was walking on a steep hill, taking walking in snow or at the beach, the point is, you will barely be able to walk on this machine if you set it to a high level of resistance. Trust me, it will give you a workout that will tire you.*At this point, I forgot about the flimsy plastic, I don't care anymore. When this beauty is put together you will be compelled to focus on the positive things this product offers.* The Outlet cord is located on the from end of the machine and the switch is next to it. So if your lazy to bend down and switch it off, rest assured that this machine comes with an auto shutdown after a few minutes of inactivity. What you see on the picture of this product and read the features for this product are marvelous.the information added is only my opinion.

Buyer BEWARE!
At least for now, I would strongly recommend you steer clear. Problem #1, I was told the equipment shipped. The next day I was told that no one was available to assemble in my area, a service I paid for. I had to find and pay a local handyman instead but I should have rejected the shipment. I needed warranty work and that company said they are the ones in my area who would have done the assembly. I was extremely annoyed when I learned of this. My handy person took two hours doing it alone. I absolutely would not have the patience to put all of the parts together. The warranty guys did compliment my handy person's assembly work. Problem #2, this is not your planet fitness elliptical. The resistance at the lowest level was heart attack inducing and would require knee surgery. At one minute I could barely breathe. At three minutes I was ready to call 911. I had another person test this and I felt vindicated although the repairmen didn't sense a problem. They also were only on it for a minute. Clearly something was wrong and I saw a few other reviewers had a similar issue. The local warranty company could not fix the resistance through any kind of adjustment to the magnetic dohickey which apparently adjusts the resistance with the flywheel. They were able to move the motor about one and a half inches. This somehow moved the magnetic dohickey farther from the flywheel which lessened the resistance. They represented that this was the limit of what they could do because of the limitation of the equipment itself. I no longer felt the need to call 911 but the jury is still out. Problem #3, the top display which highlights several key performance issues is totally hidden when reading a book or iPad. The readings are also measured using a bar, not an actual number. For example, it doesn't give you an actual heart rate. Problem #3, How would this be returned and at what cost? I never imagined that I would have to return it since I had no problem at Planet Fitness. Problem #4, the foot pedals are at an extremely awkward down angle. They are not adjustable. Your foot at this angle pushes all the weight to the toes. Thus the foot pressure is not evenly distributed and may well be contributing to how hard it is to move he pedals. Instinctively I would think you would want a slight up angle to the pedals. Problem # 5, I need a step stool to get on the equipment. I am five two. Construction-wise I did not feel the plastic or general construction was cheap. I thought it was fine from a construction quality point of view. I was very happy with the warranty company who came out to deal with the resistance problem but they were limited in what they could do. Back to the resistance issue...it starts at one and looks like it increases at increments of five up to 25. Seriously Bowflex, level one couldn't be an easy breezy resistance for beginners who will work up to 25 or just be happy at one if they choose? I saw a recommendation that you should try the equipment out first...like where exactly? This model did not show up at my local stores. I was so excited to get this until the reality of it burst my bubble.

It works...
I received this Saturday morning and got it completely set up later that day.The next morning, today, I used it for the first time. Immediately I noticed there was a little play or wobble, which wasn't too bad. I am overweight (220 lbs) and that may be why. The other issue I have is the creaking noise it makes. I have not pinpointed the exact source of the noise. It is not the rollers and I did lubricate the track with the included silicone lubricant. Again, this might be due to my weight, I will verify if it still does this with someone who weighs a lot less.Another issue I have is how it tracks and counts calories. I am 100% convinced this under reports calories. I had my user profile set to my weight, height, age, and gender, so I know that's not the issue. After a 30 minute workout using the interval program, it reported I burned 136 calories!! I know from going to the gym and based off my weight, that workout should burn 400+. When entered in MyFitnessPal it told me I burned 436 calories, which closely matches the equipment at the gym. So I know this is far off. I will have to call technical support to see why it is off by that much. The last issue is the design of the handlebars. If you try to grab your phone from the placeholder, your hands will get smacked by the handlebars! This is pretty annoying, you almost have to stop moving just to grab your phone. In the future I will just use my stereo and plug my phone into that.Other than that the unit is OK. I wasn't too impressed for the money I spent, but it does the job and I know it will help me get back in shape.
