I read the weight, and haven't weighed it myself yet, but I think it's heavier than advertised. Either way it's heavier than I bargained for. I don't see myself traveling with this, especially after filling it up with hair and makeup stuff as I'd intended. I definitely wouldn't check it. Especially since I probably COULDN'T due to the weight restrictions. But also because it doesn't seem like a good idea to check anything with a built-in mirror like this. So I was planning on being able to put it in the overhead carry on compartment, but there is no way I would be able to get it up in there myself. So I guess it's an at-home only vanity. Which kind of defeats the purpose really. For me anyway. If you wanted this to carry around from job to job for professional purposes, it would work quite well, I imagine...as long as you had a vehicle that you could easily lug it in and out of.Another thing is that the tray that goes over the handles was broken when I opened the case. That feature was one of the reasons I opted for this one rather than one that was $60 less. And considering that it's just a cheap piece of fragile plastic that probably won't even fit my tools (looking at it I can tell that my InStyler won't sit in it, my curling iron probably won't either, and neither will my Airwrap), I feel like an idiot for paying so much more for this case. I'm going to try to contact the seller for a replacement. If they won't replace it, I may just return the whole thing. I'll update to report on how that goes.UPDATE: They did send a replacement....And pretty quickly too! Great service!UPDATE #2: The speakers won't work via Bluetooth with my Note 9, nor via the auxiliary port, nor USB with neither my Note nor my iPhone. In other words, they're apparently worthless with my Android. Got them to work with my daughter's iPhone via Bluetooth, but the case doesn't even show up on my Samsung (under Bluetooth devices). "Radio" does absolutely nothing except make a static noise. There's a slim slot labeled "TF" that I assume is for an SD card, but I didn't try it. Instructions aren't very helpful.I guess I'm returning it after all. :( I really wanted to love it, but it needs work.My suggestions to the maker are....*to include something to fit over the mirror/lights to protect them from the things you put into the case during transport,*improve the speaker system so it actually works as advertised,*and somehow make it lighter. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Was hesitant but I love it *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2019* Was worried when I purchased it but I love it. Works great. Very easy to assemble. The only slight problem is sometimes the legs are finicky. Lights are great and bright if your going to do hair I would still use a secondary ring light as well. Stylist can store curling iron and flat iron in it but no hair dryer. Me personally wouldnt store the curling iron or flat iron it in because I wouldnt want to damage the mirror. Only slight issue is the little folding drawers seem a little flimsy but besides that excellent product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Think well about the color *by C***O on Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2019* I think a lot of time to decide if the black or the rose gold, I like some of the functions that the rose gold have it, but finally I decided that the black one was better for me, its more easy to combine with brushes of different colors, and types of makeup and is a classical color that never will be out. Rose gold is beautiful but not for me. Im happy with my decision, and the case is beautiful. Lights works great, and we can dimmer to control the level of illumination (thats something that I didn't read before, I just discover). The sound is very good too. Other thing, the case come very well package, very very carefully protect it.
