🚀 Bring the Galaxy Home with a Hologram!
The Zebra Imaging Star Wars Hologram Death Star Battle is a polyester 3D hologram collectible that offers an immersive experience, featuring exclusive licensing from Star Wars. With full-parallax technology, it presents a three-dimensional view that captures the essence of the iconic battle from 'A New Hope', containing nearly as much information as a feature-length movie.

True multi-color, deep hologram
I've collected a few holograms over the years, but I've never seen anything like this, not even at a museum exhibit. The first thing that blew my mind was that this image is in full color. All other holograms I've ever seen have been either green or orange, monotone. From the pictures online I thought maybe this was some kind of lenticular picture--those have color and some 3D effect, but no, this is a true hologram, the kind produced by interference patterns of light. I didn't know this was possible. The depth is also amazing. The lead spaceship seem to jut out in front of the panel by about 8 inches, and the trench scene with the other ships seems to recede about 2 feet deep behind the surface. The viewing stand holds everything just right--it's convenient, but perhaps optional. A fairly bright flashlight lights it up pretty well, and you can tilt the image around by moving the flashlight, or just leave it in the stand and move your head. You can view objects from side to side, top or bottom, look around foreground objects to see what's behind. Another surprise is that the image is computer generated, instead of the usual laser-illuminated model. The manufacturer's website at zebraimaging.wordpress.com describes a little bit about the process, but I don't see any evidence that these holograms are still being made. I've seen a couple other images in the series at Amazon, and also at ThinkGeek, but they may all be clearance or used items. YouTube has some demonstrations and reviews of this product, but keep in mind, pictures don't do it justice.
