I am 6'0 266 lbs. So I was really concerned about finding a short that would be comfortable and ultimately not tear, but still not be too big and baggy. These shorts checked all of my boxes. The XXLs fit perfect on the waist similar to basketball shorts, the drawstring kept them in place throughout class, drills, and rolls. The material clings to your skin but are baggy at the same time. Its hard to explain, but I never felt as though my opponents hands, fingers or feet would get caught in a leg opening. Now to the stretch, they truly stretch and flow with your movements. These shorts are great. I admit I have nothing to compare them to, since I just transitioned to no gi classes. But I can say I have bought another pair. I have also seen some more seasoned no gi guys popping up in my gym with these shorts as well. For whatever that is worth. Lol I love them though. Review: 🥋let’s Roll! - My Son Loves this short, quality and style is super good, love it, 5 starts it’s not enough! OSS!! ## Features - The Ultimate Jiu Jitsu Shorts: Our Classic BJJ Fight Shorts have been trusted by 100,000+ athletes since 2016. You've seen them on the biggest names in the sport, it's time to try them for yourself. - Maximum Stretch: Legend has it our training shorts were designed from the same material as Stretch Armstrong. Ok, not really, but they have an incredible flex that allows you to focus on your roll and not your gear. - Competition Legal: The only thing pesky IBJJF refs will DQ you faster than knee reaping for, is wearing fight shorts with pockets. We eliminated them and anything else that could snag a finger. - Hidden, Secure Drawstring: We now stitch the back-center of our drawstring into the waistband. This prevents it from annoyingly getting pulled all the way through. - Built for Fighting, Great for Everything: We designed our fight trunks with Jiu Jitsu in mind but they're also great for lifting, MMA, boxing, martial arts, and wrestling. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07GVPS8DZ | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Apparel Closure Orientation | Front | | Apparel Closure Type | Drawstring | | Apparel Fabric Stretch | High Stretch | | Apparel Fabric Weight Class | Lightweight | | Best Sellers Rank | #109,692 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ( See Top 100 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ) #270 in Men's Athletic Shorts | | Brand Name | Gold BJJ | | Care instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Closure type | Drawstring | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,701 Reviews | | Fabric Type | 100% Polyester | | Fabric type | 100% Polyester | | Fit Type | Stretch | | Fit to Size Sentiment | Positive | | Front Pleat Type | Flat Front | | Import Designation | Imported | | Item Length Description | Standard | | Manufacturer | Gold BJJ | | Manufacturer Part Number | GBJ-LSHO-BLK-M | | Material Type | Polyester | | Number Of Pockets | 2 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Origin | Imported | | Pattern | Solid | | Pocket Description | No Pocket | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Rise Style | Mid Rise | | Sleeve Length Description | Sleeveless | | Sport Type | Wrestling,Mma,Training,Kickboxing | | Style Name | Classic | | Style Number | GBJ-LSHO-BLK-M | | Target Audience | Unisex-Adults | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Waist Size | 33 inches | | character | sports | ## Images ![Jiu Jitsu Shorts - IBJJF Approved No Gi Fight Short - for Grappling, MMA, Wrestling, Muay Thai & Boxing - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61g3RKIq0fL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent in all areas *by T***N on October 20, 2019* After making the decision to try some more no gi classes, I was looking for an inexpensive short to get started.
