Great budget riser bar
Bought as an upgrade for my 26” MTB, happy with my purchase. Got the 40R for a more upright riding position, bar is lightweight and very sturdy. Doesn’t include markings to cut the bar down to size which is unfortunate. The packaging is a free Spank front mud-fender which is a nice addition and isn’t mentioned in the description.

Nice and wide without being ridiculously wide.
At 785mm this is a good width for my 19" bike. My shoulder with is 21.5" iirc, so this works pretty good. Doesn't seem flimsy and is as stiff as my other Ritchey bar. No complaints here, but maybe I should have got the 60mm rise instead? I have the 40mm and thought about raising the stem some more.

Best Bars for the Money?
Spank has a wide range of handlebars in their catalogue, notably offering plenty of rise if desired. These came with a plastic fender, as a bonus. Quality fit and finish, as to be expected from a Spank product.

Great bar. Value added packaging.
The bar is comfortable and rides well. I love that the packaging doubles as a front mud guard. Talk about reducing waste. The only part of the packaging that's thrown away is a warning sticker and 4 zip ties. Considering this type of mud guard sells for about $10, the already high value just gets better. Would definitely recommend and buy again

Comfortable rise and sweep. Smooth riding.
These were a replacement for some other aluminum riser bars that I had been using for a while. This pair had a similar amount of rise but noticeably more sweep than the other set. I was really happy with how the extra pullback improved my ride. My wrist angle feels more relaxed while I’m riding and it feels like I’m not holding on as tightly. The bars don’t feel flimsy at all or overly flexible. But there is a noticeable amount of vertical give that makes the ride very compliant.Overall the shape and flex pattern of this bar gave a really comfortable, well controlled tide. I have found that my hand position tends to end up about 1/2 inch inboard from the ends of the bar, so I may shorten them slightly for a perfect fit. That shouldn’t be an issue because there is a lot of straight tube at the ends, so you’ll have room for your grips and levers even if you trim them by an inch per side. But, measure twice, cut once you know.So a totally solid performing product At a pretty good value price point. You could certainly spend more and save a few more ounces of weight but I doubt you’d be unsatisfied with this choice.

Perfect for my wife
My wife was smack in the middle of two sizes for a Canyon Neuron and I went a size up. It fits her fine except reach being a bit longer than she likes. I wanted 35R and this was the closest thing I found for the price range. It says 40R but it’s actually in the territory of 38, but honestly it is PERFECT. These bars are just as good quality as my PNW bars and they’re perfect for her after I cut them a bit shorter. She love having the higher reach position not to mention, a free mud guard? SweetHonestly might buy another set of these for my hardtail

Great MTB Handlebar
Coming from motocross I'm used to riding with high rise bars. The stock 760mm width x 5mm riser bar that came with my 29er MTB was too low for my riding style. It felt as if the bike will do an endo or a stoppie whenever I hit the front brakes. I tried a 20mm and a 30mm riser bar which improved my riding position but still felt a little low for my taste. This Spank Spoon 40R riser bar made a huge difference. The 40mm rise doesn't feel as if riding an oversized BMX, while the 5°up-sweep and 9°back-sweep angles are just right that my arms and wrists are positioned correctly. The increase in width to 785mm made the bike less twitchy as well.

Nice bars
Perfect for the cost. Definitely heavier than carbon but the high rise 40mm is nice. Felt more vibrations than my carbon bars, but that’s to be expected. Definitely recommend either way.
