Not a fan on video calls, could be due to the fact I am not much worth looking at, but also, while I am happy to speak with people on the phone but they don't need to see my caffeine habit. I had to make 1 video call, so all wanted was a cheap one time camera, meaning I wanted to spend as little as I could. I wasn't expecting much from this but as it turns out it is as good or better as the ones I use at work. Picture quality is great even in low light and the person at the other end could hear me perfectly. With my job progression I have used it a few times more and still work perfectly. Even if this dies now it has far surpassed what I was expecting and if it does last any length of time, if I need another one I will get another one of these.

I bought this camera because the one integrated into my laptop was very old and produced a pixelated image. This camera has been fantastic. The price was surprisingly low for the quality of the product. It's very affordable and incredibly easy to install, use, and set up. The image quality is good, and it has a built-in microphone. The only minor issue I've noticed with the image quality is that it has a relatively close zoom. The video captures a close-up view, and the field of view isn't very wide. However, this is a minor concern if you primarily use the camera for video calls. Another area for improvement is the camera's attachment to the laptop. It's not very sturdy or firmly attached. While you can adjust it to make it tighter on the screen, it won't ever be incredibly secure. Despite these minor drawbacks, I'm very happy with this camera. It's a significant upgrade from my old laptop camera and provides excellent value for the price.

A simple plug and play webcam/mic set up. Connected without problems and worked straightaway with Skype and Whatsapp. At only 720p I have seen some people complain about the picture but I feel it is more than adequate for webcam work and obviously is less bandwidth when connecting to others who might be on weak 4g or worse, so I am more than happy with the image and sound quality. For the price point a good useful, simple to set up bit of kit. Thanks

I v rarely write reviews and remain conflicted between leaving 2 or 3 stars as I found this did everything I need - good perching on top of computer screen without obstructing anything, multiple ways to have it standing or clipped on due to flexible holder, good microphone - no issues with people hearing me, happy with resolution (higher than that built into my high spec laptop in fact) BUT sadly it has ultimately been rendered useless/need to replace it due to the same issue commented on by several others - autofocus/field of view is bizarrely close. Nobody needs to see me that close up in the mornings, especially not my colleagues (or anyone else for that matter). Akin to the discomfort of accidentally opening your camera in selfie mode and seeing the v unflattering close up angle but nothing you can do about it. I literally have it ciipped to a hanger hanging off my curtain pole whilst I order a replacement - it is a shame as otherwise great value for money! if your office is set up that you can situate yours quite far away from you then could work, all other features fine.

Got this for my elderly parent, to use on teams. one they had was so old it it wasn't supported on windows 10. so purchased, which was on a deal - delivered next day, not sure how they make money on these as was about £6 with next day delivery. Anyway remoted onto my parents PC and got them to plug it in, could see it getting reconized and auto installed drivers. Tested teams and it worked straight away. Camera is 720p but image is perfect for what we want, sound is OK - could improve maybe with headphone and mic - so did the job, and did it well

I've literally paid more for a coffee and a slice of cake than this webcam costs so it's really hard to complain. The camera is clear for what it is, though as you might expect it doesn't do great in low light or bright back light. I picked it up as a cheap camera for a 3d printer and I would say it's maybe not ideal for that use case (but see edit below). The focal point is completely fixed; not even a manual adjust. The focal point is maybe 1m+ which is just a bit far. Still usable but a bit blurry if mounted down near the bed. EDIT: Bored with the blurry image I decided to pop it open and see if focus could be adjusted internally and it can! There are 2 screws on the back to open the case and 2 on the board to pop it out. The lens is a standard twist to focus one but is locked in place by two blobs of glue / epoxy. A sharp blade and a couple minutes later you should be able to twist the lens free with a pair of pliers to re-focus at will. The board is also much smaller than the enclosure so I'll be printing a replacement for it.

Se sujeta bien en el marco del monitor (hay comentarios diciendo lo contrario) y el micro es muy sensible aun a 1m de distancia del sujeto. Muy recomendable para videoconferencia sin más pretensiones. No adecuada para streaming, la resolución es meh, lo cual es bueno si se tiene un ancho de banda limitado (como suele ser en el ámbito doméstico). Foco fijo, balance de blancos justito, con buena iluminación, ok para v.c.
