Does what it should. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A nice mandolin. *by D***1 on 20 January 2021* It cut my vegetables thinly and was easy to use, disappoint in the hand peeler, a bit duff. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value *by J***3 on 20 January 2023* This is an old fashioned idea that has been around a lot longer than I have and I remember using one when I was training as a chef in 1963 – (I’m now 74) it’s brilliant - It slices everything up uniformly and helps eg. with boiling potatoes in the microwave to save on energy (Money) it takes something like 5 to 6 minutes to boil them for mashed potatoes instead of 20 odd minutes on the hob, which takes several minutes just to HEAT UP!! This Mandolin (compact) comes with a selection of cutters in a container and is so simple to use.
