That ability would make them perfect!
These elbows worked flawlessly with no leaks, sealing perfectly. My only issue, as with the tees, is that they are not reuseable. That ability would make them perfect!

Happy with raindrip products
Pretty happy with the raindrip branded system. I have ordered several items in order to replace my existing and trying to use standard parts as much as possible (my house came with a mis-matched size system with lots of adapters). All these part appear to be as described and a working fine.

Used for workaround on clogged dishwasher
There's a kink between dishwasher outlet and garbage disposal. I cut the tubing where the kink was located and put this elbow in its place. I did saw off the green rings so gunk wouldn't accumulate. It's doing its job. So far no more backups, overflow!

Buy the Best! Buy Raindrip Genuine Parts!
When nothing else will do, get the joint that you need! These last for a LONG time, even in extreme weather conditions. I live in a brutally humid and warm climate (sub-tropical) and I have many of these above-ground AND in-ground that have been working faithfully for ten years or longer. The tubing that you connect to these elbows will likely give away before the elbow itself will. :)Don't buy cheap junk -- get the real deal from Raindrip!Recommended without reservation!

These 90-degree fittings don't work for 1/2" drip tubing
I have been doing irrigation systems since 1992, so I'm very experienced at fixing and modifying them. I needed to splice some 1/2" drip system pipes, so these looked like the solution. NOT!!! Very disappointed, only good thing is that they weren't very expensive. Get a major brand instead.
