The ring is very nice and smooth, there weren't any nicks or marks on it. The logo on the inside isn't there but that's fine by me. It's very shiny and because of that shine it looks like it's an almost-black silver, but its not. In the shade/indoors it's very black. I've never had a ring with that rounded "comfort fit" inside before, so I think that adds to the too big factor.As you can see in the photos, it is raised on my finger which will probably be less of an issue once I order the correct size. I really liked the 4mm because it was thick enough to present but thin enough not to be a burden. Before this one, I was wearing a black tungsten ring that I got many years ago. It was 8mm wide which was huge and the black had been fading for quite a while, revealing the true dark gray of tungsten.
