Fun short story for kids

I know it says that the age level for this book is Kindergarten to 1st Grade, but my 1-year old LOVES this book. We got it in a Cheerios box, and he loves to play with it and "read" it himself. And he hands it to me and wants me to read it over and over again. I must admit, it's one of the few books he has that I'm not tired of reading, because it's fun every time. It's unique enough to keep it interesting and the rhymes are really creative and fun. In fact, our paper version is so worn (and taped up) that I just ordered the hardback version to replace it. I'll probably keep the paperback one for my son to play with, however, so he doesn't destroy the good copy!

Love the illustrations and the story!

I have purchased several 1 Zany Zoo books to give to my grand-nieces & nephews & friend's children. It is a wonderful rhyming book for children & makes a great gift! My niece & nephews request it to be read to them all the time! I highly recommend this book for your children, grandchildren or to be used in your classroom. Lori Degman is a talented author!

I have been giving this book and Mrs,Degman's other books to children for years. Children love her books and parents enjoy reading them!

I got this for my boyfriend who is a music teacher. Sometimes he reads stories in between lessons, and he said the younger grades (K-3rd) loved this story. They liked the rhymes and illustrations a lot, as well. Overall, a very good story. I also like the fact that it was offered in Spanish when it was put into the Cheerios box. Very nice work, author Lori Degman!

Ms Degman’s books are my go to present anytime I need a children’s gift. That has made me very popular with many parents because their children love the books!!

This book is a family favorite! We've read it so many times that I know it by heart. I look forward to more books by Lori Degman!
