Amazon soon to follow! YIPPEE!!!! Ah, their website shows OUT OF STOCK! Patience Plus! At least they got rid of the old formula.Still no New neutral version? It is now April 9! I happened to find a brand new old version I hadn't opened yet, & it was wonderful to see the old white version formula, no smell whatsoever I could detect. New version coming mid February 2024!!! That's what the told me but I haven't heard from them. This review is only on the updated bacon flavor and is not on the quality of the ingredients or its performance. It is so horrid it ruins the various delightful natural flavors of the very expensive kidney meals--all of them. It overwhelms & ruins whatever meal it is put into. Even if you put in a slight amount, the horrid "bacon" flavor totally ruins the taste & inhibits appetite. My poor kitty has left her dish after putting in only a slight amount of the brand new "bacon" flavor. Why update this product with such a horrid curve ball? It is not fair to kitty to have her delicious meals totally ruined with this ghastly stink. It wasn't this way before they changed the flavor from neutral almost to this horrid stuff.My E-mail was answered by the company which stated that they use other manufacturers who evidently devised this "bacon flavor" & there will soon be options of flavors, including a neutral one, coming soon in the new year--2024. This is an excellent product so I will keep my eyes peeled & wait for a neutral flavor. The company gave me excellent customer service & feedback when I was especially upset. I demanded for my complaint to go to the very top & the top responded with specific details. Hang in there because positive changes are coming & I will opt for the neutral flavor. Perhaps they will add a salmon flavor, not sure about that. They will need to clarify on the product page what flavor it is so we can choose & not be left in the dark. I will gladly change & update my review to 5 stars once I get my first neutral flavor canister. I can't wait! So please hurry.

I'm a believer. Started my dog on this and he dropped into normal range on his kidney values. I've recommended it to both the pet and people versions.

Update: Since Amazon does not offer returns or replacements for this product, I contacted the manufacturer directly - they actually have a link posted right on the jar. I got a quick response and they immediately sent me a replacement - it’s on the way. Apparently there can be variations in the product that are natural - my cats just didn’t like this particular batch. lol. am confident that I will be able to continue using this product with success. I commend Kidney Restore for doing their best to keep customers satisfied.Earlier review:This product was different than usual. I have been using Kidney Restore for several years with great success. Color and texture of the product in this jar were different. My cats are throwing up after eating it and not finishing their meals. I would either like my money back or have it replaced with the true product.

It used to work great! It worked when the product looked like powder sugar. When I got it and it came and the product looked like tan powder it doesn’t work at all. The last container I bought doesn’t work at all. I canceled my subscription.

FANTASTIC Product!!!!! This has been an absolute game changer for my Ckd cat!! I have seen massive turn around in her lab work last time we went in and turn around in her behavior. I highly recommend this “unflavored” product!!!

I've been buying this supplement for more than a year and have had amazing results with my dog with kidney disease, however, the last batch I bough is very different, dark powder and an upsetting intense smell of bacon. My dog HATES it and has actually stopped eating anything that I mix this with. I read in someone else's review that there were going to be more flavors available this month but I'm revising the store and the only one showing is still bacon. It's so unfortunate and I really don't know what supplement I could replace it with. I hope that the brand read all these new reviews and actually do something to fix this issue. Overall a great product but horribly updated.

My cat was diagnosed with kidney disease and not expected to live long. One year later she is still with us and quite active. I use this powder and kidney drops as well. Veterinarian is surprised.
