Excellent Value Driven Brand
Liquitex is the gold standard in student grade (and many would argue professional grade) quality paint. Recently I've used many many many tubes of florescent Liquitex paints in my work. The florescent is extremely difficult for me to find locally so I often rely on Amazon to get orders to me FAST. AND I know it comes directly from Liquitex so no middleman. Basics is a quality product with good artist quality pigments just in lower concentrations than the heavy body line. The colors are vibrant with a decent light fastness which as a professional artist I count on. The Basics line offers excellent value for the quantity of paint received when I don't want to burn through tubes of paint on large scale projects. This is a dependable trustworthy brand.

Liquitex basics is great..I do acrylic pouring and besides Amsterdam brand this is my next favorite to work with!

It's great but....
I'm making grinch ornaments with this. I love the quality however, I'm on my 3rd container and they don't seem as full as other paints I've bought in tubes like this. I had to buy a lot more than I shouldve had to.

Thin Paint
The green color in the paint is thin and requires multiple layers for a consistent look. The other colors that I've tried in this brand do not do this.
