How do you open this? I twisted in the opposite direction to lock but nothing happened.

There is a twist-lock actuator on the cap and you turn to open. If there are ever any further questions regarding this product please use the "Contact Us" page on our website!

does it spray upside down?

I USE IT TO SPRAY MY BACK SO, I GUESS THAT'S UPSIDE DOWN. I'M ORDERING MORE NOW. I THINK ONE OF THE BEST THINGS ABOUT THIS SPRAY, VASELINE, IS THAT I CAN SPRAY MY BACK AS WELL AS ALL OTHER PARTS OF MY BODY.

No, it is not greasy. It is easily absorbed and leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated.
