I'm an avid lip balm user. I have been through so many brands of lip balm out there, ranging from the traditional chemical type to the completely organic and natural type and anything in between. My lips are so dry that sometimes I have to keep rubbing lip balm on them for almost a minute because they absorb the lip balm like crazy, just to be dry again shortly after. Through my experience with a variety of brands, I realized that the lip balms that can "survive" my dry lips are those that contain shea butter and/or coconut oil. So as I searched for "coconut and shea butter lip balm" on Amazon, I stumbled upon this product. It has kept my lips well-moisturized for a good amount of time (about an hour or so before I need to apply some more). When I apply the balm at night, the next morning I wake up to relatively moisturized and soft lips. If the balm works on my lips, it would make your lips glisten with moisture all day long. The smell is also great and all the ingredients are natural. I also use it as a base before applying my lipstick. It really does its job well and satisfies my need for all things natural.

These lip balms are AMAZING! I'm a lip balm junkie. I have at least one tube stashed pretty much every everywhere. I'm picky about texture and scent, and I don't like an overpowering sweet flavor. The two different mint flavors included in this box are fabulous. They are smooth and pleasant and give your breath a nice fresh kick as well. The fruit punch is my least favorite of the 5. The texture is just as smooth as the others, I'm just not crazy about the flavor/scent. The mandarin orange? YUMMO. It's moisturizing, smooth, and smells soooo wonderful. And finally the vanilla. I'm not normally a huge fan of vanilla as I prefer more herbal flavors, but this vanilla??? DELISH!!! These are definitely top quality lip balms, and you can't beat the price. Did I mention they are also organic and 100% natural?!! YES PLEASE!! The shipping was fast, the service was excellent. You won't regret purchasing these babies!!!

I was looking for a natural product that would nourish my lips not just gloss them. I am really happy with the ingredients in Liploks which saturate my lips with healing properties and help them to stay moisturized and healthy. There are too many glosses that are made with petroleum jelly or other unhealthy ingredients that don't actually do anything positive for my lips and I find myself in a frustrating cycle of chapped lips leading to reapplying product with ingredients that only make the problem worse. I am happy to have found this brand of chapstick which really makes my lips feel soft and supple, protected and nourished. Thank you Liploks for your wonderful product that I know I can depend on. I also appreciate the multipack which enabled me to carry chapstick in my car, purse, bedside table etc. There is one for everywhere and the flavors are yummy.

I have now been using this Lip Balm for a very long time and I have to say, it is definitely the best Lip Balm I have ever used. I have been through a long journey of Lip Balm use. I started out with Burts Bees which just didn't cut it for me. I then went to Whole Foods brand for a while which didn't cut it either. I then tried Beauty By Earth which I found on amazon and for a while thought it was great as it was better than the last two I had used. It still wasn't great thought because it made my lips very dry and created this uncomfortable layer on them that I ended up peeling off which was not good for my lips. I finally decided to try this product and it is definitely far superior to the Beauty By Earth. I am no longer peeling my lips like crazy and it does not make them feel uncomfortable. I even tried the Beauty By Earth again after using this for forever and the same issue came back. This is definitely a much better product and so far is the best Lip Balm I have ever used.

I am a brand new customer of Candid Essentials products. And I was pleasantly surprised over the superior, and clean ingredients in the five-pack organic lip balms! Not to mention the splendid value of the products. The lip balms come with gentle scents, flavors, and are silky smooth. The only constructive criticism I have is the following: I would love the lip balm more, if it was more solidified or densified (not so soft and smooth that it breaks a little bit, upon contact with my lips).

Although I'm not out yet, I want to buy another pack of these just to be sure I can find one in every room of the house, my car, my purse, etc. I am extremely particular about chapstick/lip balm and find that most name brand products only end up drying my lips more because of the artificial ingredients and fragrances. I used to spend $8 on a single cocoa butter lip balm from the Body Shop, but while it seemed to soften and protect my lips, it had some weird ingredients and I didn't love the scent. These lip balms smell amazing (every scent is great but my favorites are probably mint, vanilla mint and tangerine) and they are absolutely perfect in that they actually HEAL your lips, rather than just coating them. I can't say enough good things about them.

Update: It gives a quick immediate relief but doesn't moisturize or repair at all. Left my lips dry, even when applied overnight. The package arrived a day early which I was expecting because of how close it was already (I watched the tracking details) The lip balm is pretty good, it's just a little waxy and it stuck to the cap on all of them. But immediately after I put it on, my lips felt relieved. It did clump when I put it on but you just have to smooth it out with your finger and it's fine. I just received it about two hours ago so this is just a first glance review.

I'm very selective regarding lip balm. Over the years I've spent too much money on new products only to throw them out after a couple of uses. I found Karite Lips product over a decade ago and it's been the only balm I've consistently used and been happy with. I began researching other products again given the cost and difficulty with locating the Karite product. A few months ago I came across this Candid Essentials product; LipLoks. One of the ingredients I've found that works best for me and why I used the Karite balm is Shea butter. However, it seems to be the "it" ingredient right now and more often than not when I find a product that boasts of having Shea Butter - it's the last or near to last ingredient listed. These products have not worked for me. So my rule of thumb has become; if a company prioritizes their use of Shea Butter to boost sales revenue versus creating an effective product - I don't trust the company, I don't give them my $. I'm happy to say that Candid Essentials LipLoks product has proven to be a winner on numerous levels. I'm getting a 5-pack for the price I normally pay for 2 of the Karite lip balms, and the flavors are nice, not over the top. I'm glad I made this purchase and found a great alternative for less $! I recommend it.
