It's hard to review products after just a month of use, since durability and long term usefulness/value are hard to assess at this point. However, I'll give it a shot.The product itself seems pretty solid and I don't see a lot of points of failure. The seem fine and a month in I continue to use the original ones although I have bought the replacements already in anticipation of their failure.Some folks have dinged the product on the pads, but as much as I've used the unit (I'll get into that later) and considering I have used TENS units before and know how long THOSE pads last, I think the pads thus far are reasonable in their durability. Once I found the right spot for where to mount them on the belt (this took a couple of tries to get it just right) I find them to be just fine.As for how well the unit works overall, let's get into that. Compared to other belts, these guys are pretty toned down in terms of what they claim it can do. As a gym rat and a person who reads a lot about fitness, I have enough experience that abs are like 90% made in the kitchen. So there is nothing this product can do for you if you don't have the body composition (% of fat mass vs. lean mass) you're not going to see your abs. Lose some weight and put on some muscle if you want visible abs.I range from barely visible 4 pack to a well defined 6 pack, depending on life and my commitment to being lean at any given time. I hate ab work outs and once they're visible they could be more awesome, and I could stand to hold them more tightly (it can look like I have a gut even when I have visible abs due to poor lower abdominal fitness). So, I was excited to see this crop of EMS ab units. Did some homework and picked this one. It works is the short answer, but here's some more detail in bullets:I made my way up to advanced levels very quickly, and recommend that anyone who is reasonably fit do the same.I use multiple times a day on most days. Despite the strong contractions, I just don't feel like 20-30 minutes on this is anything like even a 10 minute ab workout in terms of intensity/quality. Some days I'll do like 5 sessions while working at level 7 and 90+ setting. It's a lot, but I tolerate it well and it's easy as I type or sit on a conference call.I definitely can tell a difference...but now I need to lose the weight again before seeing what visible difference it will make (back to the kitchen).Back to review stuff, the user interface is good, and it's easy to navigate. I like it just fine and it charges quickly. The belt seems well made and I don't see where it might fail in the future. I would recommend to anybody looking to augment their ab routine with EMS or if you're like me and don't like to work abs directly (most compound exercises hit them a little anyway - pullups/chins/bench/deadlifts etc.), maybe this is all you do.

I've worn out three of these over the last (maybe) 8 years. I use them several times a week and sometimes a couple of times a day.I've used the Slendertone version that uses an app your phone to control it but I find this type is simpler and (I think) more effective.Using these really help me get started strengthening my core and getting fit. I'm now cycling 600 miles a month so I'm not using the toning belt as often as I was. But I can really recommend using this regularly to get started.

I bought this very skeptical. But it’s the only FDA approved for weight loss and toning of abdominals. I’ve used it for 3-4 weeks. 30min-1hr each day at least 4-5 days a week.Does it work? To be honest I’m not sure. I combined using this with diet, exercise, and core exercises. I see a difference but not sure if the belt contributed. It certainly didn’t hinder or make worse my progress.It fits well and works well. As you use it you need to turn up the intensity to keep it working for you. I started at 40 and now 3 weeks later I’m at 76. The 2 beginner programs that pre-programmed imo were too easy. I did it first when I got it and then went to another workout right after because I didn’t feel it working well. Now I use the advance ab exercise on a high intensity.Overall I’m happy with this purchase. It’s not hurting anything to use and I can do it while laying in bed and watching tv.

I am a pretty active person but wanted something to help me tone up my abs on off days. I'm now right around week 3 and have begun to notice that I can actually see my abs! That being said, this isn't a miracle it's meant to be used in addition to a healthy diet and regular exercise. The belt itself is great! It came with an extension in case it fits too snugly and it folds over for a snugger fit if needed. The display is easy to read and the manual explains everything pretty clearly. On the higher-level programs it even guides you through workouts to do in addition to the electric stimulation. When it's on it feels a bit tingly and like you're doing a crunch. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and can't recommend this enough for anybody looking to add a little extra to their workouts!

It started malfunctioning after not using it for a while. Then it was okay after using daily but it is buggie. Like a bad algorithm or something.

I have been using it almost everyday with my 40 minutes workout and diet since I received it on August 6th, so it’s more than 5 times a week, and it’s almost 3 weeks. Base on the description, result in 6 weeks, but so far I haven’t see any small changes yet. Plus the battery drains so quickly, I can only use it for twice then have to recharge it again. Also the gel pads quality isn’t good, the Q&A said that you can replace the gel pads after 25 sessions, usually 20-30 sessions, but I had to purchase another set of gel pads already after around 17 sessions. Low value for this product, I wish I can get my refund back.

2-days of use and I’m hooked. Totally love this product. I have done the EmSculpt (professional machine at my doctor’s office) so I have pretty high standards. I’ve only cranked it to 54 and the intensity is fantastic. The design and manufacturing is sleek and the product is well made. Velcro is strong enough to wear while walking, working out. I am narrow enough in the waste that I don’t need the extension belt so I can’t comment on that part. All I can say is that after 2 days of regular use my ab muscles are sore (like I did a lot of sit ups - but I did not). Charges quickly (1-2 hours) for about 4-5 hours of use at level 40-50 (not up to 80’s yet). Very happy with this product.
