This works great and make charging much easier

Pofung and Baofeng are the same in Chinese Cantonese. For a short time there was a Plan to change Baofend to Pofung branding. Both are the same company. This radio did not come with a charger so I needed to find a 4mm barrel plug for a BL-5 Battery. I received this charger and it WORKS. Using a USB Outlet on a PC or a Cell Phone charger with USB outlet. To test I left the radio on for hours to deplete the charge. I plugged in the 4mm barrel connector to the battery and the Red LED was lit indicating that it was charging. Within an hour I had a Green light on the USB plug- indicating a full charge. Also this dongle is connected to a USB Port and the Barrel connector is not connected to the radio battery the LED will Glow Green indicating a Voltage is powering the charger.A Change to Red when the Barrel connector is connected to the Battery meaning the battery is charging.This dongle is mad to connect a charger ro 3800 mah batteries but will work with smaller 1800 mAh batteries utilising a 4mm Barrel connector center pin is Positive.

Works great with a UV5R extended battery

Purchased 2 of these, both work flawlessly. Plugs into Baofeng 3800mAh battery charge port. Has light on cable, green when plugged in, red while charging, green when battery is full.

Like the led indictor which signals the batter is fully charged - convenient method to charge, either in the car or from a charging device at home

Cable works great I do not have to bring my baofeng In the house anymore to charge it

It works perfectly so I can charge from a 12V USB adapter or a portable USB lithium battery. Can be carried in a backpack with the USB lithium battery and keep me going for days.

The SWR is off a bit. Everything else is great
