Not quite what I was expecting
This is a good comb, but not quite what I was expecting. I would prefer one with slightly finer teeth.(2/5/15) - Having previously rated this comb I at 3 stars, I am changing it to five based mostly on the customer service I received from the manufacturer. At the time I am typing this, there is one comment to my review. It is from Tedd, the co-founder of Chicago Comb. Having read my review, he offered to exchange my No. 1 steel comb for a No. 3 with finer teeth. I contacted Chicago Comb and agreed, we exchanged a couple of e-mails, and VOILA! They shipped my replacement comb on a Friday and I received it the following Tuesday. I now have a comb that I am completely satisfied with and Chicago Comb has another satisfied customer. Win-win. This is customer service the way it should be.

My Favorite Comb
Simply put, I love this comb. I was originally introduced to Chicago Comb from a friend and I have really enjoyed my matte comb. The comb comes in nice looking brushed matte finish. The teeth especially the tips have mirror sheen that really help the comb to glide through my hair. Very solid and well finished. I'm really into design and I really like the modern, clean look of the comb. I bike to work and this comb with the black Horween sheath goes well in my bike bag. Helps me to look good at work! This is my go to comb and I love that they design and make their products in the US.

The comb is beautiful and strong but my hair is getting tangled in it much more than my cheap plastic comb with similar sized teeth. The only difference I can notice is my plastic comb has rounder teeth and these are more square. I'm wondering if I should exchange for a different version of this comb.

Great, durable comb
This comb should last you a lifetime, unless someone lifts it from your bathroom like my last one.

I mostly picked out this comb to keep in a nice kit, but I do like it a lot.Like!- Stainless steel! The comb will probably outlive me unless I decide to use it to pry open a door or use it monkey-wrench style and attempt to throw it into the cogs of a machine.- Handsome design! It's a nice matte finish, though it's also available in a polished version. The finger hole is a neat touch, and lets you spin it around your finger like a revolver or a knife before you slick back your hair.Dislike!- A bit expensive, considering I dropped about $30 on a comb.- Doesn't come with a case or sleeve, though you can order a leather sleeve through Chicago Comb's website.

Excellent product. This item will be around long after I'm underground. It loses one star for costing nearly $40. I can't see a reason for it to be that expensive. Otherwise, it's an excellent, manly accessory. (...and I admit that I enjoy the *schinggg* sound it makes when I pull it from the pocket of my jeans.

Compact, functional, and looks cool.
Good comb. A little difficult to keep clean and the teeth aren't quite as smooth as I would have hoped, but it's served me well as a daily driver. I wish the teeth were maybe a *little* finer, but that's it.

Permanence is bliss
Never really thought about an item like this before, but I travel constantly for work and it's pretty handy to have a comb like this before a meeting; especially after sleeping on a plane for hours. Previously, I always just bummed the cheap plastic ones from hotels or picked one up at the drug store. They always get gunked up though and there's no real easy way to clean them. Just easier to throw them away. No such problem here. A welcome addition to my travel kit.
