Kitty loves this
Almo Nature is very good food; especially for cats diagnosed w/ Pancreatitis. This particular flavor is very stinky, however. It is also expensive, costing 29-36 + bucks for 24 very small cans.I have switched kitty to the Salmon & Carrots in broth, which she also likes. Going to try the Tuna & Chicken also. There is more in the cans than the pouches, so I am no longer buying them. Also, the pouches are PLASTIC!!!

Great for my cats
Just trying to even things out here. I’m not sure why these other reviewers are having these problems. I take great care of my 4 cats. Part my strategy with diet is variety. I consistently stock a few Science Diet items (light dry food is my go-to kibble mix) but mostly they are happy with the 10 varieties of Almo food I buy for them. Other than small-batch water or oil inconsistencies, I have found Almo to be the highest quality producer of natural proteins I’ve come across. These small inconsistencies usually amount to small-batch and varied natural ingredients which I tend to find encouraging rather than over-produced, manipulated chemical compositions processed to be absolutely identical time and time again. I typically have 3 of their chicken varieties (drumstick, carrot, green bean), fish varieties (mackerel, mackerel and sweet potato, tuna with pumpkin, salmon with apple, trout and tuna, and lobster jelly with tuna), and others that may come and go based on availability. The cats always look forward to dinner time and they eat a lot but do not put on weight. They have been enjoying their Almo dinners for well over 3 years now. I would highly suggest trying a few types of Almo for your cats or kittens to truly gauge their interest and determine the quality level.

Not all cans equal
I have been buying Almo for a few months now and cats have eaten it well. Today, I opened this can; foul smelling with mold. The tuna cans are generally nice and full like pictures from reviewers. The chicken with sweet potatoes is generally filled with more water than meat not enough for one cat. I am hoping this review will get the attention of Almo to step up their inspections of packers.
