To the Max
This Trumpeter kit is a great step up from beginner models like Tamiya's or Monogram's. Great interior details are offered, along with plenty of PE parts and the choice of either highly-detailed vinyl tracks or link and length tracks.Assembly is a bit tricky, as there are a multitude of tiny parts and PE that needs to be bent to fit. It's quite a step up from normal Tamiya kits, so be prepared to spend hours building subassemblies before finalizing it and doing the full assembly.I have heard that some kits have poor moldings, but my kit seems to be just fine. Be wary, though. Additionally, the driver and radio operator compartment does not fit the vehicle interior, though it fits a normal Panzer 4 just fine.

Awesome Dicker max model
I just started getting back into model making after 35+ years and this was my third tank model in about a month or so. This was definitely a challenge for me. Many, many tiny pieces. 631 total including the individual track sections ( Which I opted out of doing and just using the rubber tracks which were also included.) Patience is a must with this. I can't stress this enough. Tons of detailing on the entire interior of the tank including the whole engine which is covered afterwards that you can't ever see again. The instructions were pretty straight forward and easy to follow for the most part. Over all it was a good, fun build to do and would suggest this model to anyone.

Good kit for the price.
Good kit for the price. Got this for $19.Everything fit as it should with only minimal fit issues. Tracks need a lot of clean up due to how they were molded but worth the extra effort to clean them up. Not a lot of accessories for this are included. Detail on parts are good. Not like a dragon kit but what can you expect for half the cost. Overall a good kit for the price. Only had to add putty to smooth the seam on the barrel. Does include some interior parts like engine and transmission but once its assembled you cant see the engine. 4 out of 5 stars for me.Thanks and happy modeling.

Not bad but not great
I won't go to great lengths here. The kit builds pretty decently. It has indie track links, which I prefer. Don't recall any flash and it all fit together pretty well. What was weird for me was spending two pages of instructions building the complete drivers compartment, complete with engine and transmission, just to have it completely sealed up and invisible inside the kit. Oh well, at least I know it's in there. Not a bad kit for the money, and it's not like everyone is offering a Dicker Max.

Dicker Max
Overall this was a great kit. I had to rework the suspension to get everything to line up. This was the biggest problem with the kit. No crew came with the kit but it did come with lots of extras and the instructions leave a little to be desired. It did come with brass parts and you could order a add on of a larger brass kit gun tube and other parts. I just went out of the box. I have never built a kit from Dragon before but am overall pleased with the result.

not a fun model!
I have built over 25 different tanks so far---I enjoyed building them all---but this tank was by far the least enjoyable! Parts don't fit, some parts are missing and most parts had to be cleaned up in order to make them fit. the quality control person was either missing or asleep when my tank passed his station! I don't mind work--but cleaning small pieces with an exacto knife just to try and make them fit was not fun. I will take Tamiya or Dragon over Trumpeter every day of the week!

why. it's not bad
Overall it's a fun model,. They could have done a quality check on the sprues but being versital got me by. The final track sucks so make them with the included plastic links.

this is one of the great ones of the old tanks that I am adding to my older editions of German tanks
