The circuit theory analysis and synthesis written by Abhijit Chakrabarti is a very good book of electrical engineering. It covers all the aspects of circuit laws, principles, networks such as D.C network analysis methods viz. Kirchohoff's Laws, Node and Mesh analysis, Kirchhoff's voltage Law, voltage division in series circuits, application of network theorems in D.C circuits such as Thevenin's theorem, Norton's theorem, Superposition theorem, sinusoidal steady state analysis in RLC circuits, resonance and selectivity, Phase circuits analysis, Power relations in A.C circuits, transient response analysis in passive circuits, analysis of special signal waveforms, application of network theorems in A.C circuits, analysis of two port network, Laplace and Fourier analysis, Active and passive filters, passive network synthesis and so on. This book is absolutely an ideal book for electrical engineering students and professors for circuit theory analysis and synthesis. Must say a very good piece of work by Abhijit Chakrabarti. First talking about the packaging of the book was great and nice. The condition of the book was great.First 40 to 50 pages are colour ful and rest all are blackened white. But this thing is not that important.I must recommend this book to all students who prepare for gate, ies, ssc- je, and all other compitative exams. There are many solved examples.

Best book for practice in wide range. This book contains 1291 solved examples, 140 additional harder problems (chapter 23) , 372 exercise (with proper hints for each of this). so it's basically good for any exam (gate or psu or ese). Yes the theory in this book is not explained as well as Hyat & kemmerly's book but it's to the point. For question variety use this book and for theory use Hyat & kemmerly.

This book is very good. quality, quantity and everything Is quite well. Concepts are given in a easy manner... I don't know how is it for gate or other competitive exams but for freshers it is good overall.....

Pros:-Having more problems in all chapters which will be helpful for Gate, Ese and other examsCons:-1. Few pages are torn2. Some pages are not printed correctly3. Don't know why chapter 1 only having colored fonts, diagrams. Other chapters are black and white. Why compromise in quality?Amazon/Seller should verify product before delivery. Replacement also time delaying process.
