Nice socks!
Have been trying to find my husband some quality, comfortable socks to wear with his work boots on construction sites. He is on his feet 10-12 hours a day, so having comfortable socks is an important part of his daily wardrobe. I bought him a pack of Dickies work socks which he does not like at all because they cut off circulation at the top. I also got him a pack of Carhartt work socks which he really loves. I asked him how these Wigwam socks compare to the Dickies and the Carhartts. He said that they are definitely more comfortable than the Dickies, and are a close second to the Carhartts. In my opinion, these Wigwams seem a bit more high quality and like they should wear longer than the Carhartts. He is happy wearing these though, so it's a WIN in my book.

Quality: A Word NOT Missing from Wigwam's Vocabulary
These are like my Sunday Go To Church socks, but we country folks seldom wear socks to church. They fit my 13DDs perfectly and even after washing. They do not fall regardless of my activity. When one of my docs told me that I had to wear white socks, he did not tell me what kind, just white. So I bought some of those and then some of the other seller's and so forth until I stumbled across these. The price point per pair is somewhat higher than the other guy's but well worth it. As a kid and living alone, I always bought Wigwam. That was when activity meant something considerably different from today's use.No shrinkage. No piled knots all over the socks. No internal strings that get hung up on toe-nails. I bought a three pack of quality and excellence while expecting them to last longer than a few times wear.

Pretty good sock
Warm, comfy, and thick socks. Ordered XL for my size 13½ feet, and actually found them to be a little bit big (they do fit up to size 15 after all). 6-12 size socks are always too small, so these were good socks for me, just had to pull them up a little bit so they don't bunch up in my boots around the ankles. Seem to be pretty durable. Washed them a few times already and haven't noticed any thinning or anything like I would see in big budget packs of socks from the local super store.

Great socks
Been wearing mine for about a month. So far so good. The fit is right on. I got a pair of Carharts and they were too small so I returned them. Way too small. I double checked the size I ordered and it was correct for my shoe size. Just run very small I guess. I would order the Wigwams again in a heartbeat. They feel better than other socks I've had and support my feet better.

Not what They Used to Be
I have been buying Wigwam socks for many years. They were comfortable, durable, and just the right thickness. The last order I placed was very disappointing. These are not the same socks. Despite buying the large size, I can barely pull them onto my feet, and they were too tight to wear for more than a few minutes. The material is also much thinner, and the elastic has very little stretch. With the huge drop in quality I will not purchase again. I'd be better off purchasing one of the big brands. They don't last very long, but at least I can actually wear them.

Quite possibly the perfect sock!
I have now purchased these socks for my husband on two different occasions. He works in manufacturing so he spends a lot of time on his feet and is very picky about the kind of socks he likes (reinforced toe, cushioned sole, good elastic band so that they don't fall down, etc.). In the time we've been married I've bought at least half a dozen different brands of socks for him that fit his criteria, and every single one of them have worn out within a matter of months. I was beginning to think that my husband is just an automatic death sentence for socks until I found these. I originally bought him 2 packs (6 pairs) for Christmas and they quickly became his favorite socks. He wears them the most, and after 8 months the socks have withstood the beating with no signs that they're wearing out. The toes and heels aren't thinning at all, he loves the cushion, and they stay up all day without any slouching. He literally cheered when the newest pairs arrived. I've never seen a man so happy over socks!

Made cheaper than they used to be.
These socks used to made to a better standard and quality, not so much anymore. Definitely a thinner material and they are not holding up as well as ones that were bought previously. The sizing has also started to run tighter/smaller than what they are listed as. I do not think that I will be buying wigwam brand socks anymore, not what they used to be.

Thick sock
This is a great Wigwam sock. Good construction. Good quality. Good feel. Good fit. Very comfortable. It's a bit thicker than the standard Wigwam crew sock, so it might be a slightly tighter fit in the shoe. But it's a very good sock.
