Fairly Easy Fix and Worked Like A Charm
This resistor was for my 2014 Ford F-150 fan motor. I had lost all but one speed. Installation was pretty much a breeze except for the back screw. Some reviewers mention the pins not lining up....mine popped right in with no problem. YouTube videos show you how to install it. However, they do not show installing the back screw. At first, it was extremely frustrating until I finally decided to use a pair of forceps to hold the screw. Dropping the glove box is simple, squeeze the two sides in at the back and it will drop down. I recommend also purchasing the STREBITO Mini Ratchet Set, 22-Piece 1/4 Ratchet Right Angle Screwdriver, 36-Tooth Small Ratcheting Wrench Bit Ratchet For Tight Spaces, $11.99 (Amazon description), and the "SWANLAKE 20PCS Power Nut Driver Set for Impact Drill, 1/4” Hex Head" only $9.99 (Amazon description.) These two tools are invaluable for a multitude of uses. The two screws are 8mm. It was easier for me to remove the front and back screw with the glove box dropped as well as installing the front screw. However, when installing the back screw, I had an easier time with the glove box closed, and lying on the floorboard with a headlight. Using the forceps, I was able to get the screw into the hole and get it started enough to then put the ratchet on it. NOTE: Be sure to replace the electrical tape with fresh tape, putting it on just like the factory did it. If you do not replace the tape, it could come unclipped and fall out....ask me how I know. After installing, I started the truck and had all speeds back up and running. NOTE: Be certain the connectors "click" completely mated. Mine came unplugged after two days and lost all speed. Dropping the glove box, I found it had disconnected. I had failed to press the connection together hard enough for it to click shut.

Did not fit my 2010 ford f150.
Let's see... Ease of installation: It is not easy to install because it does not fit my 2010 ford f150, as advertised. Durability: I cannot rate durability because it does not fit my 2010 ford f150, as advertised. Speed: I cannot rate the speed because it does not fit my 2010 ford f150, as advertised. Value for money: The value for money is extremely low, because it does not fit my 2010 ford f150, as advertised. Design: It is the wrong design, for it does not fit my ford f150, as advertised. Air flow: I cannot rate the air flow, for it does not fit my 2010 ford f150, as advertised. So, my overall review is this. Having addressed the suggested ideas to rate this product, it is my conclusion that this resistor does not fit my 2010 Ford F150, as advertised.

Good quality part
Did not fix the issue we were having as it turned out to be the blower motor but part was easy to install and it wasn't complicated.

This unit not built to last.
Purchased from Amazon September 2024 and installed upon receipt. Fit and finish of unit were fine. Unit became inoperable January5, 2025, requiring it to be replaced, but with a different brand. This was a very disappointing purchase!

Works as it should
The blower motor in my 2014 F150 super crew stopped responding to speed control changes and would not turn off, even when the climate control system was powered off. Just one speed all the time, no matter if you wanted the fan on or not. Not fun in the Texas heat with summer approaching!I figured the original control relay must have bit the dust the same as the one in my last F150 I had several years ago. I ordered this part yesterday afternoon and it arrived today! Talk about fast!!! The only thing faster is how quick it was to change out. Just opened the glove box, pushed in the retainer tabs on the side to flip the glove box out of the way and took off the two 8mm bolts that held the relay in. A simple push on the release tab for the wiring and the new relay was ready to be installed. I did this at 10:00 at night in my dark driveway and it took less than 6 minutes tops. An easy DIY project for sure. The blower fan is back to working as good as it did before. I am very pleased with the results. Time will tell whether it is as good as the OEM part but no problems yet. Everything fit perfectly and plugged up without any modifications needed. I will update this if any problems arise but it looks like it is made as well as the OEM part so I don’t foresee any problems.

Fixed blower stuck on high
My 2010 F-150 blower motor would only run on high speed even though the speed indicator on the dash showed low speed. Easy fix, just 2 screws to remove and replace behind glove box. This is a 10 minute job and all you need is a 5/16" wrench. The part solved the problem and was 1/3 the price at the local auto store.
