be quiet! BGW27 Silent Base 601 with window Computer Cases - Silver

In comparison to my last case, its a little larger but its just so easy to put the components in. Its got lots of soundproofing, but it still can be a bit loud depending on your CPU cooler and GPU. The selectable fan speed for the rear and front fans is interesting, the preinstalled fans are OK, but again a little loud at full speed but nothing dealbreaking. Extremely solid and well built and it looks very nice too with the orange motifs on the front.

The case is a very solid build, my worry was it would be plasticky but its far from it, all metal ish. and I've had nothing but space from it you could buy this and never need to replace it as long as it does not break. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a lovely case, but does take up a lot of room and the glass is tinted so its quite dark but not a lot just enough so you can see the components even without light. cant wait to start adding more to this case.

its great, and super silent, i only have 1 fn though at the rear, so if you switch on the fan in the front then expect little noise but i found out that the case is big so no need for the front fan and the temperature still same either with front and rear or rear alone, it has 2 places for ssd card aswell, i recommend it.

This is great mid-tower case, and is probably as large as one needs to go now we are leaving spinning drives and even sata SSDs behind for M2 drives. Things to note; it has no provision for an optical drive. I found the SSD mounting bracket on the underside of the motherboard - tight, so I used the conventional mounting tray. There is one Hard Drive tray, for the main compartment, but provision for more - which would need to be bought separately. These are mounted in such a way to minimize vibration There is double hard drive case in the bottom section, a compartment that houses the power supply, which is mounted in a cradle to restrain vibration noise. The side panels are released by buttons to the back and open almost butterfly like - this is very good, an improvement on the traditional slide to rear design that the Bequiet full tower case has. There is provision for cooling options ie water, adding more fans. The case is deep enough to accommodate a taller air cooler. The case comes with two dumb 140mm case fans powered by a sata connector. These are speed controlled by a switch on the outside of the case, alongside one USB 2.0 and on the other side of the power switch there are two USB 3.0 ports - these connect along with the mic and headphone jack by cables to the Motherboard. The only other negative I found was the tapping for the fixing screws is not the best, which surprised me, you need a gentle touch to avoid over tightening and or cross threading. What is very good is the silence. I used this case for older hardware I am running Linux on, with a new Scythe Cooler, and a Be Quiet power supply makes for very quiet operation.

Very happy with this case, it’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be but it’s very sturdy and incredibly quiet! Good cable management and lots of fan fittings.

I bought this, after owning a rather noisy PC for many years, specifically due to it's focus on silence and it's discreet colour scheme. The case itself is great, does everything I'd want with lots of nice details. However the case comes with two 'Pure Wings' fans pre-installed and I found them to be too loud to fit with the overall mission of the case. They're not awful but they have a slight 'buzz' or 'croak' while spinning, seems to come from the bearing. Next to some basically-silent Noctua fans which I moved in from my old case, they're quite noticable. I'll probably just get some replacement Noctuas and have a fully peaceful rig!
