Khushwant Singh is an icon of open-minded free India, long back I had written extensively on his writings specially his novels and appreciated his sense of humour verging on the grotesque and dark humour. The present Joke Book is typical KS.\, alluring yet serious. He passed away with doing things he wanted to at 99. A great Indian with a great honest man who lived his life well and boldly.This book, I read with great satisfaction as a tribute to him. Dr I K MASIH, April 1, 2014
