Suction is very strong and positioning tension holds exactly at the angle you place it. The light is bright enough considering it's battery powered. The size is perfect for framing up the portion of your face your focused upon and magnification level is exactly what is needed for working at about 8 inches distance. Its mount brings it about 4 inches away from the surface (assumedly a larger mirror), so add that to your mirror surface (if it's flush to a wall or on a vanity cabinet) to determine how far in you'll have to lean over your vanity cabinet surface to get within 8 inches of the mirror for good focus. Once I started shaving and grooming using this I rarely use the main mirror it's attached to. It's a little too large for me to pack for travel and I know I'll really miss it on long trips.

Overall first glance is that the 10x magnification really allows me to see every little detail of my face (even just realized I am starting to have freckles). With the light on, it is even clearer what little details I can see. It is a good mirror for what it's supposed to do.The batteries are not included. You need 3 AAA batteries to power this baby.It is a good size to even keep on the countertop or vanity also. The suction cup allows for it to stand without tipping over 👍By the way, the suction cup is very strong once it is on a glass or bathroom mirror. No chance of it falling unless the surface its on falls.Not yet rated for traveling. It is a bit bulky and big for I would like to travel with but it is quite light. Will update once I try traveling with it.

I think it's perfect for portability; it's indeed practical, and truly adorable.It does have that distorted look unless you lean into view. As well; the size of the mirror itself, only allows for viewing of partial areas of the face at a time. It's been difficult for me to see my full face, simultaneously. I'd prefer a larger viewing area..Aside from that it's durable, the angled view options are awesome. The suction offers sturdy adhesion with somewhat of a 'lock-in-place' by simply turning the grip portion.Ideal for smaller spaces and clear counter space because it does adhere very well, to another mirror surface..The lighting and magnification is stellar for perfecting those tiny things that would otherwise most likely, go unnoticed during application.Once utilized, it'd be hard to do without this lil'cosmetic tool. ..I've come to depend on the vanity mirror more than I would've ever anticipated. I have had several 10x magnification mirrors in that past and have a large one I use at home daily. I purchased this one for makeup touch ups at the office. I’m far sighted and need to see real close up! Lol. This mirror is definitely not 10x magnification. I would say it is 5x as it seems the same as a few 5x I have. Other than that, the quality seems fine. The light works well but without the magnification I need none of that really matters.

Magnification percentage is questionable but most irritating is the unworkable suction cup.I bought this several years ago and I stopped using it because it will not stay in place but every once in a while I try using it again and still to no avail.

It works so good especially for the price! I stick it to my body mirror that hangs on the back of my bathroom door and it has been there for about a month without moving with kids running in and out of the bathroom taking it off I have the base and putting it back on etc. At first I was concerned that the light was kind of Damn then I realized I was using half dead batteries once I put brand new batteries in it it is super bright LOL not to the point where irritates her eyes but just to wear it illuminates your skin perfectly! I use it for applying make up and occasionally tweezing an eyebrow hair here and there that is out of control would definitely recommend this product I am actually happy I bought it instead of one of the $70 make up mirrors that are large and bulky it is so nice that it just sticks to the mirror right in front of your face at first I was concerned that the light was kind of damn then I realize I was using half dead batteries once I put brand new batteries in it it is super bright LOL not to the point where irritates her eyes but just to wear at lumen ate your skin perfectly! The 10x magnifying mirror lets you see everything in great clarity and larger than life. Just be sure to put it where you can get close to the mirror to see your reflection clearly.3. The suction cup holds the mirror securely in place on a clean smooth surface such as a mirror or glass shower.4. The mirror can easily be angled and adjusted for proper viewing and it holds that position.This mirror is perfect for my needs.
