Near East Roasted Red Pepper and Basil Quinoa, 4.9-Ounce (Pack of 6)

I stumbled across this in our local grocery store a few years ago, but then could never find it again. I am so glad Amazon has it, and in bulk at a good price! Our family loves to cook it up and add it to ground hot sausage and mozzarella, and then stuff it all in bell peppers. So good! It is delicious on it's own too, though. Highly recommend!

Love quinoa, and the ease of preparation with this mix is great! Highly recommend. I use it alone as a side dish or mix it into stir fry dishes.

This is the only way my family enjoys quinoa. It is a very tasty mix and works great with a stir fry recipe. I was so sad that our local stores stopped selling this a year ago, but will happily buy this again and again from this seller.

This is quick easy and tasty. Got 12 boxes, but they were best used by marked for March 2018. So 4 months until best buy date reached. Otherwise, recommend.

I have purchased NearEast products before and have found them very good. But this one? Oh no. I ordered this set online on 10th March 2023, with it arriving about 2 1/2 weeks later. I used the first couple boxes without issue, saving the others, stored in the usual grocery cupboard, even with the original plastic it came with. This was on the clear assumption and understanding that there was a decent time lapse before any shelf life expiry, particularly since it was ordered online, from manufacturer/supplier, and to be shipped. However, when I reached to use another box, this June 2023 month, I came upon the contents looking like they were held together in clusters with cobwebs, sticking to the outside of the box ie beyond expiry.I would like to believe that something went wrong with this batch, since Near East has always come up 'good quality.' At first I thought that the expiry date was 2022, but even so it is unclear especially given the way these two box bases are stamped. NearEast (or dedicated online supplier) has got to check itself. Is it old stock or bad batch? Don't let this be the experience of others.Returning is always an option just as the inconvenience of doing ie time, cost, resolve. For this set, and this set only, I would give it 2 Stars.

The taste is very good. We use it in different dishes. Quinoa is healthy, and so is brown rice.
