Things far away look closer!
This is the only decent scope I've ever had, so I have nothing to compare against. However, its easy to use, zooms up to 75x (but I find 50 is enough; the image starts going a bit murky at 75x and field of view is very small). I did some limited research and wanted the Maksutov optical design rather than refractor. With 50x zoom I can see people on top of hill 6 miles away and they look about 6mm high. I can tell what colour coat they are wearing. With naked eye I cannot see them at all. Not had chance to look at moon yet.Edit: Saw moon at 3/4 full and image was very crisp even up to 75x. Because moon is bright, the murkiness was not apparent at all. At 50x zoom, moon is easily viewable in viewfinder without having to move tripod around to see the bits you want to, so 50x is still my sweet spot for any type of viewing.Now very pleased I bought this instead of Firstscope by other manufacturer offering similar zoom but astronomical only.

Good /Well made / substatial scope: unfortunately I had to return due to the eye relief it provides.
Good, well made item; however the zoom eyepiece provided did not give the right amout of eye relief adjustment I need when using spectacles. The solution would have to be buying an additional adapter to convert the existing telescope type mounting, to a standard spotting scope mount , and then buy standard spotting scope lenses, the size/attributes of which usually work well for me. This item as however, in all other respects good, and I would look for other options from this brand name/manufacturer in the future.

Good scope, supplied tripod cheap.
The scope in is supplied form is good, nice distance, clear enough view, however I've replaced the eyepiece with a SVBONY 1.25 inch SA404 M48 Female to M42 Male adapter paired with a Svbony SV170 Telescope Eyepiece.The difference is amazing, larger field of view and a fair bit clearer. Both components are on Amazon but one was out of stock so I had to visit the Bay of E. These modifications take it from 4 stars to 5 stars.

Lovely
This is a fantastic quality product, image quality is good and the lenses are all good, the eyepiece is changeable so if you need a wider field of view or more or less magnification its doable.

Arrived with a defect in the mirror and front part cross-threaded when attached to the rear bodyItem returned as unusable

Probably best value for money
Maksutov-cassegrain system offers solid telescope body with lightweight construction. It has very good picture quality, When using zoom, it needs to be stabilised on tripod. For the money it is a monocular with very good image quality.
