If I was making it in the containers I guess it would be fine, but I'm straining it and then tying to put inside the jar was challenging. Trying to then add fruit/granola/ect also proved to be not so easy because of the narrow neck. I ended up with different jars with out the narrowing, they work so much better. Even though I have half gallon mason jars filled with yogurt, these are nice to have on hand for the kids. I put yogurt, berries, and granola in them preprepared. Easy to wash with a bottle brush, and the lids stay on very well. With that said, it's not quite enough yogurt for me in one little jar. It is an appropriate serving size, but I often will eat yogurt for my breakfast meal. Good snack size, but not good meal replacement size.
