Review: Good Test - I can not find this locally anywhere. So, I ordered on desertcart. I ended up testing negative which is a relief, because I thought I had a UTI. The minute clinics and hospitals have been extremely busy. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t positive for leukocytes and nitrates. Make sure you follow the directions/time limits for the test. 2 minutes after wetting for leukocytes and 1 minute for nitrates. Other notes: Horrendous packaging with just the Azo box in a plastic sleeve with zero bubble protection. My Azo box was so busted in the back, the box actually cracked all the way through. Each test stick was ok and sealed in their individual plastic packaging. Azo tests are expensive, but if you think about how busy hospitals are you will get the idea. It’s also extremely convenient to test at home and have some peace of mind. If I would have tested positive I would have went straight to a minute clinic or urgent care. If you are having severe symptoms it’s probably the best idea to go get checked out and treated. You don’t want to mess around with UTI’s. However, I have no regrets buying this Azo test. I’ve used Azo many times and it’s usually very accurate. Stay safe everyone and Happy Holidays. Update: My mom needed a test and it was negative. Then several weeks later my wife thought she had a UTI. She took the test and has a UTI without Nitrates. We are getting the issue resolved by a medical professional. This test kit has been extremely useful in being proactive, despite the higher cost. I feel like I got my money’s worth, because it’s helping other members of my family. It’s good to be proactive about your health. You definitely don’t want to mess around with UTI’s.

**Q: Why did the azo strip test turn purple hrs afyer testimg**
A: I tead where bacteria in urine doubles every 20 minutes, so it is possible bacteria may be breeding on the test strip …

**Q: Will this test detect an e coli urinary tract infection?**
A: It did for me and it has for my mother.  But that said, it does not show what bacteria is causing the infection - only that you have one.  My doctor sent a urine culture to the lab and e coli came back as one of the infecting agents.  The strip used at the doctor's office came back negative even though I had a terrible infection so I trust AZO.

**Q: Do these expire?**
A: They do have an expiration date. In my experience, you usually have between a year and two years before they are expired. They are very reliable, as far as the test results.

**Q: This is for my wife. We can't test while she is urinating, so can we dip the test strips in a sterile collection container?**
A: I have to Cath in a bag so as I'm pouring urine out I run the test strip under it and it works just fine.  The only difference between my bags and the container you're probably using is my bags are sterile so I'd make sure you use a clean container so the test isn't contaminated.

at least you get 3 tests . unfortunately for me I got the same result - positive negative which basically is - unsure results go see a doctor. I got this test to avoid going to a doctor so it was pointless it just delayed me making a appt.
