A wonderful acrylic gouache for professional use, their lightfastness rates beat other brands, this is an important aspect to consider if you sell your work. Consistent opacity throughout all colors, beautiful matte finish and also highly pigmented. The colors in this set are ideal and you can mix pretty much any color from it and then decide which ones to buy in a larger bottle. Good value for money especially for a professional grade paint. Use them with a wet palette as you would with traditional acrylic paint so that they don’t dry too quickly.

Love these paints! All bottles except one were sealed perfectly. The one that was slightly open though did not leak or dry out. The texture is soooo smooth and colors vibrant! A little goes a long way. They dry matte and do not change color like regular acrylics which usually dry darker. I still varnish with gloss but that’s just my preference. I bought them to try for the strong pigments and creamy texture. If you want to try acrylic gouache or you like acrylics in general I’d highly recommend. I also bought the turner set previously. Between the two I actually prefer these to Turners. But both are great.

Another one of Karen Campbell's fabulous how to Art Books. This is a great value and packed with valuable drawing and watercolor information. Karen Campbell's Art Books are all a "must have". I've never been disappointed when received one of her "Awesome Art Books".

I had low expectations going in, but was surprised and won over. The paint doesn't clump, gum or give me trouble - it is wet for a long time (although I live in a high humidity area) and very opaque allowing for exceptional line quality. The finish is matte, but not a bad matte like kids craft paint, it looks professional. Would be perfect for high-detail work, lettering etc. A little goes a long way. I was surprised at how small the bottles were but I only used a couple of drops out of each container and despite being so fluid were quite opaque and the paint went very far. It almost works like ink. These are fun paints, would be good over the top of regular acrylic to place in fine detail.

This is a great medium, but it is not perfect. It is not really a gouache or acrylic gouache. It is more a matt acrylic. That being said it does allow for some easy blending. The paint bottles are nice and easy to dispense paint with. I've mixed it with some Golden Softbody paints and watercolor for some nice effects. If you find true gouache frustrating this might be a happy middle between standard acrylic and gouache. I've read some reviews that put it under Turner Acrylic Gouache, but I've never used that brand so I cannot say. I can say however the winning point for me was it is available in individual colors at Michaels. Since I live in a fairly rural area and do not have a true "art store" that was a big plus for when you run out of a color and need a replacement quickly.

If you are used to a screw top, you will try to use these like that for awhile. It takes some getting used to being a pop top but I love it! I almost dumped the entire bottle a few times before getting the muscle memory. But if the review is for the paint alone, it is seriously amazing paint. I wish I could get more colors. I bought a Raw Sienna separately since this 12pk does not have a raw sienna and it's one of my most used colors. I love the paint, i love the bottle, it's great. I wish I could find these bottles empty and fill them with my holbein acryl gouache.

Highly pigmented. Layers well though white and yellow may need more layers (not unusual with lighter colors in general with most products). Has a satisfying creamy texture and drys to a nice matte finish.

Excellent arrived on time and brilliant product

I bought the art materials for my son and he is delighted with them.

I’m not a professional artist. I just dabble so I don’t know all the technical terms to describe how nice I find working with these are. I mostly use them for coloring book backgrounds. I like how I can do pale washes but I can also totally blackout a background. I find them more versatile, space saving and cost effective than trying to kit myself out with both acrylic and watercolor paints. I don’t sell anything I do so it’s enough for me that I find joy using these.

Love this product! Such a perfect way to try out a range of colours and mix any colour you want! I highly recommend this if you’re just dabbling into Acrylic Gouache painting! These paints are pigmented mix well with water and each other! Can not get enough of them!! 10/10!! P.S don’t judge my painting skills... or lack there of! 😂 this is just an example of them used as they come out of the bottle!

The colours are vibrant and the containers are sturdy. Its a small amount of paint, but I expected that. This is a good way of getting the smooth and bold gauche colours qhile having a sturdy and waterproof meduim. I use it together with my acrylic to really make things interesting. 10/10 exactly what I was looking for.
