We had a standard 2.5 car garage that had two ceiling fixtures for lights. We had a couple CFL in there and they were fine but over time got dimmer and dimmer. Then one light just gave out. So, I purchased two of these as potential replacements. Ours arrived without motion sensors...they are just LED lights. However, they did come with strange USB with 3 LEDs on each (see pic). Very bright, but I don't know who would need a light that bright sticking out of a USB port. I guess it would help in a car or something. The lights installed easily, same as a standard light bulb. They are crazy bright for 60W and the ability to tilt each "blade" to a different angle is a great feature. On the plus side, they are a huge improvement over the aged CFL lights that we had in our garage. On the negative side, now we see all the dirt and junk that was easy to miss in the dim CFL light! All in all, great buy for the money. We bought two without even knowing about the motion sensor option and to be honest we don't want that feature. Without the motion sensor, they are just bright, adjustable LED lights that are easy to install. The only pause I have is longevity...I don't know how long these lights will last as we just installed them. If they last a couple years they will be fantastic buys.

This is my first time with this type of light. First of all, WOW HOLY COW! It's bright! I love this light. Put on sunglasses. It's bright, I can see everything in my garage. I have several fluorescent lights from a previous home, this was just going to be a short term solution, until I got the other lights hung up & wired. I'm keeping this up instead now. No need for the old lights now. These angle, to hit every corner of my garage. Screwed in the new light, and it works. No need for eye hooks to hang the old lights from. No need to mess with the long old fragile bulbs. And, best of all, no need to swap out the base for one with an outlet to plug the other lights into. They aren't just bright, they are VERY bright, everywhere in the garage. Really, they light everything up, not just right under it, not just a small section. Amazon asked for a motion detection rating, these are just light bulbs, really bright light bulbs, no motion detector? I recommend this! Feels like, and looks like a good quality build, seems sturdy.

I ordered 4 or 5 different LED "bulbs" or "arrangements" I think is a more appropriate word. All were purchased on Amazon and had similar design elements with hinges and lots of LEDs packed into one screw-in base. These ones here are not only hands down the brightest but also the best quality out of what I ordered. Everything about its construction is just tough. It could easily handle a few drops or falls without breaking. The wires that run between the pieces are very thick and have thick quality insulation on them. The metal heat sinks that area built in do a great job cooling the light. The surface on these stays cooler than my less powerful plastic 60 watt counterparts. With just the least bit of airflow they still VERY cool too the touch. I'm impressed. I'm using these to grow different exotic house plants. They work GREAT for that. Getting more of these 3 pedal 80 watt LEDs.

I bought two of these to replace four 4' fluorescent tube troffers in my two-car garage. They put out way more light than they did and at a fraction of the wattage. The ability to "cast" the light by tilting the heat-sinks is really nice too. I just have to remember not to make direct eye contact with them because they're so bright! While replacing a lampholder I had broken by overtightening a screw, I unscrewed the lamp only to find the bulb cap, i.e., where it contacts inside the lampholder, had separated from its plastic base. I sent an e-mail over to Jason at BRING LIGHTING with a photo and description of the issue. He got back to me within an hour apologizing for it and offered to send me a new one along with compensating me for my lampholder. The lampholder was already being replaced and I had purchased one for something like $2. I told him it was not necessary since it was so cheap and I was replacing it due to my own reasons. He followed up quickly with the order for the replacement unit and also sent me a $5 refund for the lampholder anyway. Super nice guy! Thanks, Jason!

I like these lights and I have purchased 4 of them. They are easy to install, bright, and I've had them on pretty much constantly for 3 years with no failures. The only issue is that the screw attachments in the base can become brittle from heat and fail. I went out to the garage a couple of days ago, and I noticed that the whole unit has separated and the lights were hanging from the cables. I replaced the unit, as I didn't think it would be safe to just glue it together.

After a frustrating experience doing a detail job on my car in my under-lit garage I went on the search for some replacement LED fixtures when I came across these super high output LED lights that go into a regular medium light bulb base. Installing them couldn't be easier since you just screw them in. They throw an insane amount of light that is comparable to the light output you get from very high powered halogen panels. Your typical ceiling mounted halogen or LED panel fixture might put out about 3000-4000 lumens depending on size. High end drop in panels run about $100 a pop. These things put out a crazy amount of light. So much so, that I immediately saw some scratches in the clearcoat of my car that I had missed when I was polishing it. Bittersweet indeed. If there is a downside to these things it is that they only have a rated lifespan of 5,000 or so hours. That's really not that great if you would have them on in an application where they were on 10 hours a day.... but they do have a two year replacement warranty, assuming you can get it honored. Since I only typically have the lights on in my garage for 30 minutes at a time, or a few hours on the weekend, I expect to get many years out of these and by the time they eventually fail I suspect a superior version will be available.

I do a lot of mechanic work in my garage but it was dim. I started by getting brighter wattage bulbs. Then started using a headlamp also while I worked. I got tired of the inconsistent lighting so tried this. Whoa!! Super simple upgrade and a monstrous improvement. I initially bought one for the space where I work but ended up getting another for the other side of the garage and it looks even better. Then I got a third for the unfinished storage in my basement. It's just so stinking easy. It's bright, and the direction of the light is adjustable. Such a significant and simple upgrade for the price. If you have recessed lighting "cans" be careful, these may not be compatible.

I am updating this review because they sent me a replacement light with no issues, I think the issue in the first place was the shipping company not the light. Now I have had these lights in my shop working for over a year with no problems what so ever. I am super happy with this company they are real pro's, they really do care about the product they offer for sell and there customer service is the best bar none moreover I am supper happy with the lights, I don't see any reason to do business with any one else they are the best. Wow this would have been so awesome if all the panels worked, only two of the panels would light up. little worried it may have a loose wire or just a defective panel at any case for me its not worth the hassle of calling and filing a claim to try and get a replacement. I bought this one and there motion sensing bulb, the motion sensing one works great and is super bright I love it, but since this one has only two panels working I gave it a two star rating, if all the panels worked this would have been a five plus star light.

Easy to install. Wanted to upgrade my lighting in my 24 x 24 house garage that has 12 ft ceilings to restore a Classic Car. When i built the house and garage originally all i had in the ceiling was 4 light sockets that i had 150 watt incandescent bulbs which weren't real great. I looked at having a electrician install led strip lighting or something similar until i discovered these on a YouTube video . These work great and i had them installed in no time at all. I originally bought 2 then i liked them so much my wife bought me 2 more. I joke that it's so bright now i could perform surgery out there.

What a difference! Purchase and delivery smooth and expedient. Unsolicited customer service follow-up communications from the manufacturer ensuring "all is good"...rare these days...very nice to receive. Product is exactly as described. Well constructed and yields exceptional lighting. Hopefully there will be satisfactory longevity to the product. Highly recommend this manufacturer and their product.

This is the second light I purchase and Have never had an issue with it. Takes 10 seconds to install. My first one is going on 3 years now and at times will stay on 24hrs a day. I would definitely buy another.
