Nice filter in a lot of circumstances, but causes lens flair
The filter works great for a lot of shots, but beware, it has significant lens flair if shooting into the sun or other bright light source. There are small flecks in the coating that catch light. It can't be reliably used for sunset or sun rise photos.

Quality build, great customer service

Very dark, extends exposure time dramatically. No color cast that I can see.

Works great, adds a purple colorcast though
Works great, the last few stops add a really bad purple color cast, we only use this filter for one or 2 stops before it starts changing colors. But those first couple stops are great!

Good product.

Excellent as ever.
I have 6 Gobe filters now and they are all excellent. Bought this for my wide angle lens , and it gives excellent results. Came in a tin ( usually in plastic case or material bag) with cleaning cloth and it is of superb quality. I recommend Gobe filters to others, and I know they have been pleased with them too. Highly recommended.

Nice quality
This item arrived very quickly and was well packed. The item came in it's own box and a real nice 'carry tin' with soft cushionedinterior and a cleaning cloth. The quality of the ND glass appeared top quality. It was my first attempt at long exposure work and I was more than pleased with the outcome.If you are looking for a top quality big stopper then this i9s the one for you.

Does exactly what you want it to do
Great filter, photos stay sharp but allows for the use of long exposures to create interesting images! Added bonus is the planting of trees in Madagascar with each purchase.
