A Veritable Sea of Claw Caps
Keeping in mind that I am an "experienced" user of claw caps, these are very easy to use and check all of the boxes for ease of application, long wear, glue quality, etc. They seem to be little sturdier than some of the other budget options, where the tips of the caps will sometimes break off. Some suggestions: 1) Your cats claws are probably not all the same size, just like your nails vary from finger to finger. Most of my cat's claws (he is a large male) fit well into Medium caps. Medium is also what this brand recommends for his weight. But I also keep a small set of Small caps on hand because his "pinkies" and dew claws are a little smaller, so a medium is not as snug of a fit. Mixing and matching brands won't make a difference, so you can try a much smaller quantity that will last you a while if you think this applies to your cat. 2) Your cat sheds the outer layer of its claws, just like a shark sheds its teeth. So when you see that he or she has lost a cap, don't just assume that it fell off, if it has a layer of claw still attached to the glue inside - it was shed. That means that you did nothing wrong, the cap and the glue are not bad, your cat is just doing what it is supposed to do. If you do not make a great big chore out of applying your cat's caps, you will have an easy time keeping up with this turnover. Usually, as soon as I notice that my cat has a free nail, I will trim it, and the next time the two of us have a free moment together in the kitchen, that sucker is getting capped. Your cat will have a lot more patience with one or two nails being done than the whole set anyway. 3) I keep my glue and the tip in a baggie in the fridge. I think it really helps. I can usually reuse the tip many times, but other people seem to have a problem with that sometimes, as they have the glue dry inside and need a new one every time. Obviously, avoid leaving a glob of glue in the tip if you can by sucking it back into the glue tube. You also don't have to use the tip necessarily if you don't have one, although this might be easier with bigger claws. 4) You only need a tiny bit of glue. Squeeze a small amount in, then squeeze the cap gently shut between your fingers. This distributes the glue around and you should just be able to see the glue when you are squeezing, not when it is open. What happens if you put too much glue in? Well, you will find out if you get any glue on yourself. It is viciously sticky and it hurts to get off. It will hurt your cat if it gets on its fur and skin and it tries to move its toes or get it off. The less pleasant the experience is for the cat, the harder it will be for everyone. Which brings me to my next point: 5) Treats. My cat is basically completely fine with claw caps being done and just sits there, because he gets ALL OF THE TREATS. He normally doesn't get very many, definitely not an everyday thing at my house. But with claw caps and medicine, I reward his patience generously. 6) Your cat will probably not like getting claw caps the first couple of times, but will get completely used to them. On the other hand, some cats just cannot do it. If you have that kind of cat, don't blame the product, just understand that this is not the right solution in your situation. And don't buy a bulk box of claw caps like this one if you haven't tried it even once.

100% a steal at that price
I never leave positive reviews but this actually is fire. It came with all the parts, tons of different colors to choose from. - My cat has had 0 problem with them at all - He is able to retract them fully - They do prevent him from scratching stuff - They stay on for like forever, several have been almost a month The only two things to be aware of are: a) you need to buy a clipper and clip your cats nails before hand. Please look up how to do this correctly because it can hurt them if done wrong b) My cat HATES having them put on but thatโs just a cat being a cat. Make sure to have plenty of treats and consider taking breaks But overall effective, lasting, and worth the buy.

Very useful
These nails are prefect for my cat! I can play with my cat without having to be worried about being scratched and get cuts from her. And these prevent her from attacking my feet and not doing any damage during the night too lol. And my cat doesnโt have to ruin anymore furniture around my house. Theyโre quite hard to put on, but I guess that just depends on the cats. My cat didnโt let me put them on without having to call for backup! But they are easy to apply, it just slips onto the nail and you just have to be patient once it dries.

Wish everything worked this great!
I never knew such a thing as this existed, but came across them when trying to find options for fixing a specific cat's clawing problems (or rather, our problems with his indoor clawing :)). I am happy to say that they have worked very well for us, and certainly took de-clawing off the table - something we'd strongly like to avoid. My two images show our orange cat, Urnch'un, the day we put on his claw covers and about 7.5 weeks after (the claw-only shot). The offending cat does not like clawing the typically corrugated cardboard that our other 4 are fully content with. He deeply clawed at the carpet, and pulled some up each time. It would be a sad sight when we'd go a few days without vacuuming one of his claw spots - little strands of carpet would be all over. We just had the carpet replaced, so it's distressing to see such things. Upon applying the claw covers, we decided not to put them on the rear claws. In fact, initially, we only capped the 8 non-thumb claws on the front. The cat continued to try and claw up the carpet, so we hit the thumb-claws as well within a few days of the other 8. About 3 weeks in, we lost 1 cap. No idea how, but we threw another cap on that claw, and kept on going. We never capped the rear claws, and still probably won't. At this moment (8/10/20), we are about 3 days from hitting the 8 week mark on the original 7 claw covers (8 weeks on the thumbs in a week or so). I'm very impressed at how long they've lasted, especially given how easy they are to put on. The covers completely stopped him from clawing anything and everything. However, his other antics never stopped. He still hangs (by his claws) from drawers to pull them open. He still climbs to the top of the cabinetry. I literally don't think the covers have stopped him from anything except what we truly wanted to stop him from. He's still himself. The first day he had the covers on, he bit at them. I just knew he was going to pull every one of them off, but to my surprise, not a single one came off. The glue has worked out great for us. The very tips are broken off of a couple of the covers (as seen in the claw-only pic), but they still work fine! I have no idea how long they'll last, but the price + ease of installation + effectiveness can't be beat! I haven't put covers on the other cats, yet, because they are generally very good about what they claw. I'll certainly do it if it becomes a need, though.

Tried once and thats all ill do
But because my cat kept scratching on things, including our new couch. It does the job but can be difficult to put on. The nail glue is just like regular nail glue, I'd say almost like super glue. If you put too much it gets stuck to there for if you put two less it pops right off. They can grow into the nails and then it pops off. But my cat had one or two nails that we're on there for a long time and ended up getting pulled off. The colors are very vibrant and I like the different types of colors there were. I used this one time and decided not to use it again. You do need to cut down their nails some so that it has time to grow into kneecaps. The cap stayed on there for maybe a month so it was very sturdy and durable. You can definitely hear when the cat walks around the house when he had them on but it's not a annoying noise

Cute claw caps!
My cats donโt even notice that theyโre on their claws after theyโre on for a few mins. It was definitely a struggle to use at first since Iโve never tried to put these on a cat before, but once I got 1 cat finished, I was able to put them on my next cat a lot faster. I did buy a size small, but my cats are on the smaller size so I ended up buying a XS. No worries, I was able to cut the opening of the caps to make them shorter and I was able to put them on my cats no problem! It is recommended to cut your cats nails so that the cap is able to stay on longer as the nail grows. Then when the sheath falls off, so does the cap. The hardest part is the glue. The glue is kind of like fake nail glue, and you just squeeze a DROP into the opening of the cap. Squeeze the cap once or twice so that the glue distributes throughout the inside. Then in a few seconds, it does get a little tacky! Thatโs when you want to put it on the nail, and within seconds it should stay! The caps are made of a rubber material so theyโre soft. The first time you put them on your cat will be the most difficult (unless you have a very chill cat that doesnโt mind when you mess with their paws), and then I just replace each claw when I notice that the cap has fallen off! Better than waiting until theyโre all off. My cats still do the scratching motion with their scratchers and I donโt notice them acting any different! It does seem to protect my furniture SOME, but itโs not 100% protection as there is still some shape to the cap. I would say it lessens my fear of being scratched โกฬ

Fabulously Functional
I got these not because my cat actively destroys my furniture, but because his zoomies are... intense. Ever seen a cat parkour? I have. These were simple to put on, came in fun colors, and the cat cant get them off. Now, I say they were simple, because they were for me. I actively play with my cats feet and trim his nails. I hold him like a baby while he stares at me like I'm committing a sin, but remains still. He did lick at his paws off and on for around five minutes, but I distracted him with a toy and now, for the most part, he's ignored them. He still makes biscuits. Still parkours. Still climbs his cat tree. Worth it. 100%. Also, just look at how fabulous he looks!

Not too tricky and less costly than replacing furniture!
Excellent product! I used a similar product on my cat probably 20 years ago but had the vet put them on. This time around I have two cats that are destroying an antique couch and had to take action! I did them on my kitten and my petite Siberian this afternoon. Both have quite a bit of paw fur, so it was helpful to have another person pull that back as I applied the nails. Next time I think I will shave their paws a bit first to make it less likely to get fur in the cap. I did have one cap that I thought I was applying to the nail but she had moved at the last moment and it adhered to her fur and skin. I cut it back and will try removing but it was very tricky (right above her nail). She was done for the day, so I will resume another time. Time will tell if they stay on well. I felt the Small was still pretty large on both my cats and definitely suggest trimming as needed.

Great product, practical and effective!
Iโm very happy with this purchase! The nail caps stay in place well and are easy to apply thanks to the included applicators. The different sizes and colors are very convenient. My cat got used to them quickly, and they really help protect my furniture. Excellent value for the price!

Items missing
Package arrived with the claw covers but missing the glue and applicators. Very disappointed as I cannot use these without the glue and applicators.

Help cut down on scratches to people and household items
These work great for helping cover the nails on our cat. Our cat is average size, and is a household cat. He is only 1, so very hyper, and is always running around, but unfortunately likes to have his claws out when he does, which can scratch us, our kids, our floors, and furniture. These do as expected, but there are a few drawbacks. 1. The glue is poor. Half of it is dried out before you even open the package. 2. The glue that is left over after use will dry up quickly, even if put in a pill container inside a ziploc bag. 3. The caps are random colours, meaning we can not have a matching set on the cat. Not everyone enjoys random colours. Some of us like consistency. 4. The caps smell. They have a very plastic/chemical smell on them that lasts for several days after being put on. 5. Having to purchase glue to make up for the dried glue is an added expense. We bought these in medium, hoping they would fit both of our cats, but the medium only fits our smaller one. We suspected this may be the case, so were not surprised. So, pay attention to the sizes when ordering, as these are not a one-size-fits-all all. Overall, these are good and seem to last for at least a week or two at a time, sometimes a little longer. A little overpriced considering the glue issues, but in the end, worth the buy to save our furniture and fingers when we play. We will purchase this again.

Work great
These caps are great. It comes with way more glue than you actually need and itโs easy to put on my cats. All of them have pretty nails!
