The tiara is a sturdy metal tiara, which gives it a good weight to stay on the head. I bought it for my bff's 50th birthday party, and she's been wearing it for 3 day now, its so cute and classy, not over the top gaudy. She's even wearing the sash! We'll probably get a lot of use out of it with so many friends turning 50 this year - it will definitely last through many celebrations. And it arrived when promised - thanks all around!

Got this as I wanted a gold/rose gold sash and crown for my 50th birthday. Was not gold at all, was barbie pink and would of been more suited to a 5 year old. Havent been able to return for a refund due to the way the return was done so am now out of pocket for something that was neither as ordered/described or suitable.
